[shadow=green,left,300]Come discuss this month's issue staring: [/shadow] [glow=red,2,300] BANE! [/glow][shadow=green,left,300]
I give this month's issue a 10 out of 10, I loved the story and especially the scene where the announcer says, " Gotham City Let's Get Ready To Rumble!" *Batman and Bane are about to fight along with the Boxer's lol* I also noticed that this is one issue that has fanwork of Detective Yin. [/shadow]

Sorry for being so late:
REVIEW: One of things I've been hearing about the kid show named The Batman was that WB thinks Bane is too dangerous for the show. With The Batman Strikes being a comic that while based on that show does things moreso than the show does, Bane on the show must've been a releaved for many fans.
In Season One, "Traction" was the episode where we were introduced to Bane. While someone else who wanted power, he had connections even to common thugs and mob bosses who would pay him the right price to do whatever they wanted him to do. Add that with Rupert Throne returning to the comic which quickly surpasses his show appearence of one leads to the story.
The story: Dwight Goldwater's family is kidnapped. He's a boxer and unless he throws the next fight, Bane is going to kill his family on Rupert Thorne’s orders. Dwight's only help is Batman. Tracking down the family, Batman fights all the men while Dwight has his boxing fight leading to Batman fighting Bane on a rematch from "Traction."
One thing I liked about this issue was that Bane wasn't the main villian, Throne was. While Thronw doesn't appear all that much, he's the one who hired Bane to do the dirty work. I kinda like villians who are work for hire like Tumblor, Firefly, and Bane are. It fits them.
Like many times in the good things of TB, Batman did good detective work. Him beating Bane, easily I should say, seemed unreal at times. Even thinking back after reading the issue even now. I guess I understand that for this type of show based comic you don't need to go that far. Plus if it did get a part 2 or something, this storyline wouldn't go that and would seem disjointed.
In the end, this issue was simple and overall, I liked it. Nothing hard, just good fun and good art. One word comes to mind: solid.
RATING: 8/10
