Batfans:
Today I received copies of the inked pages for my Batman Strikes writing debut ("Young at Art," #30, Feb. 2007), and I was blown away. Sanford Greene's pencils already were great, and Nathan Massengill's inks bring a depth and real noirish quality to the story.
It's an indescribable feeling, seeing artwork based on your words. I really hope you guys (and gals) will be as thrilled with the comic as I am.
Best, Russell

I'm not sure, but /\/\att did mention somewhere Robin would be appearing soon, In other news, this sounds fantastic, a time for new artists as well as storylines, can't wait to see where it will take us.

Robin makes his debut in Batman Strikes #29, script by J. Torres. Penguin, Bane and Batgirl also appear.
Russel's issue is #30, followed by a Matthew Manning script I'm drawing for #31.

#30 is a Robin-less issue. I think he was home with a cold the night this particular adventure happened. ;-)

As far as I know, an artist hasn't yet been chosen for the Ivy story. It's still very early in the process.
<<Sweet, can't wait to see some more Batgirl>> In the issue I'm writing now, Batgirl has one of my all-time favorite lines. I was smiling ear-to-ear as I wrote it. It was actually quite easy to find her voice, even though I'd never written the character before. I slipped into her head without a struggle, if you know what I mean.
Robin, too. I've now written both the adult and child versions of Dick Grayson, and they're very different people with different motivations and actions. Either way, it's a great character.
