I enjoyed it, more than the first, which I thought was a good affort at establishing the back story a bit.
Alfred looks like he will hold his own in this show, helping The Batman outside the Batcave, which I think a younger Alfred should be doing. Bruce and Alfred have a unique relationship in the comics, and examining how that developed should be interesting.
When I watch the show, the main thing I keep in mind is we (adults) are NOT the target audience. This is meant to introduce a new, younger generation to the characters we all love. Liberties need to be taken, and the audience (WB Kids) is used to different styles, paces and modern technologies than when we grew up with.
If I was 6 to 14 years old, this would easily be the most exciting cartoon on TV for me. As it is, I like having two versions of Batman on TV every week.
I am looking forward to seeing the entire season.

This episode just played here in Canada. I'm really liking this cartoon, and I like the fact that the toy variants are appearing on the show. i.e. Traction's Bat Bot, and the bat-winged hang-glider from this episode
