[shadow=green,left,300]Its halfway over...so far I really like how Artie (Cluemaster) is doing all of this for a specific revenge.....very classic for the first appearance of a rogue!
The scene with Bruce in the alley at the opera, waiting for the batmobile and the car hold Zigler drives by in slow motion, while kinda matrixy, really shows off Bruce's heightened senses, IMO.[/shadow]

[shadow=red,left,300]They actually made Cluemaster a pretty interesting villain. His origins and why he's bent on revenge were well done. His midget henchmen were a riot (Now I want a cluemaster figure with his 6 henchmen as accesories.)
An interesting thing...the Batmobile coming out of the old school bus in a junkyard. I liked that.
The ending was great as we see Bruce challenge Alfred to a game of checkers. Felt to me that he was trying to capture some of that playfulness that he missed out on as a child.[/shadow]

[shadow=green,left,300]I also really enjoyed Alfred letting out that he watches the japanese gameshows while he's "dusting".....and that he knew the old 'think thank thunk' gameshow right away. funny stuff.
I also like that he's so huge cause he spends all his time eating his lifetime supply of Kremelos. lmao.[/shadow]

This show was ok.
Once again...an almost COMPLETE outline of a Batman villian (Cluemaster) is given to us in a half hour along with a decent amount of action (midget football team members) fights and plot. So why couldn't they do this with Firefly? Ok, leave that alone....anyway...not my fav by far, sorta different episode, kinda boring fat azz Lifetime supply of "Kremelo" eater villian...meh.
I give it a 6 out of 10.

Those Kremelos must have one heck of a shelf life. Considering his size, I was almost expecting a "wash myself with a rag on a stick" line to be uttered.[/shadow]

As much as I thought this was going to be bad, I was completely wrong, it was a awsome ep, better than others, if the show was a hour long this ep would have surely been the second or so best ep ever.!!

I would have been fine if this wasn't supposed to be Cluemaster, but oh my god..... A little brat is pissed that he lost a game show years ago and wants revenge? give me a break. this episode looks like they just finished it at 9:30 this morning. I wish I could get the 30 min of my life back. I said it before, Jabba the Hutt doesn't belong in the batman. Worst. Episode. Ever (im 100% serious. that was worse than Yu-Gi-Oh!)

Before I even saw todays episode I kept telling myself all week I am going to hate this one I am going to hate this one, and you know what. I didn't I thought it was great to have a villian like Clue Master, and he had motive and they went into detail about how he came about. I think they might have gone a bit overboard with his weight, but by far this is probably one of the most in depth stories out of all the episodes so far!

It was good while it lasted, but I'm hoping he'll banish for the rest of The Batman's airtime on TV. His background sucked slightly (I personally, just wished it would've been more meaningful), they character himself was okay, and the overall episode would get a 6.5 out of 10 in my book, with some flaws. And also, just to comment on the YuGiOh thing, Matt is right, NOTHING...NOTHING is worth than YuGiOh. Lemme see, a show with a plot and action, or a show with redudant card play and virutual monsters EVERY episode, simple choice.... (I'll take Bats ANYTIME)

EDIT: The numbered midgets were the best part of the show...those fights were the shizz. Other than that I would've given that episode a 3 out of 10. _____________________

I think this is the first episode I didn't like. Sure it was funny, but Batman isn't supposed to be funny, IMO. I also thought Cluemaster was a pretty shallow villain. Now, I'll probably get ridiculed for what I'm saying, but believe me, I'm not trying to be overly critical, but I had problems with this episode. That is my opinion.

It would be pretty hard to make Cluemaster one of the BIG VILLIANS like the Joker and Two Face. What story could possibly come up next? Cluemaster is like another Joker... Only Fatter! By Golly, Cluemaster is really fat, I bet he got that way with the life supply of chocolate huh? Anyway, this was a pretty fun episode to watch. Batman is definitely a smart guy to come up with the "What's the Identity of the Batman" Question. Imagine what else would happen if this episode was an hour long?

I actually liked it. I didnt really expect to.. at least in the sense I expected more of the same. Easily couldve really stunk. The cluemaster is (IMO) a disposable random character that they managed to put to good use in a workable way. He is not a major "villain" worthy of numerous repeat appearances. not exactly a "foe" and they did right using him the way they did. Their interpretation was inventive and humerous (fitting, unlike some other alterations they have chosen IMO). This episode worked as intended. An enjoyable simple tale with an extra emphasis on humor. Essentially a "filler" episode but an example of a good one. Now, I realize and agree that much of this ep was silly and not representative of the quintisential Batman, "Bat villain", or Batman story. What I appreciated here by comparison to previous episodes, was the overall writing and story structure. It was well rounded! It didnt feel rushed nor lacking in any particular area. To me, it was one of the first episodes to feel "complete". I also gotta say the 1st not to have any unbareably cheezy references, set ups, or lines of dialog. Alfred's for example. Now if we can solidify these elements and apply them to future more intense episodes, I would begin to really believe in and put faith in this show.

Hmmmm...he (cluemaster) wasn't even a good "disposable" villian to me.
The Clock King from the old Batman series is what I would call a "Good" disposable villian. Even though the original concept was lame...gosh...he turned out to be such a good character in two great episodes (from what I recall).
Cluemaster is not. It would not hurt my feelings at all to NEVER see him in a Batman episode ever again. However, the Clock King would be more than welcome.

i've loved most of the episodes...the Man-bat being my favorite episode along with the Joker and Bane episodes....but this one didn't do it for me. the Firefly episode was the weakest thus far until this weeks episode.
in the Firefly episode the villian wasn't that integral a part of the story as the main subject was Bruce's battle with living two lives and trying to carry on his father's work. though i love The Batman i was pretty disappointed with Q and A. just being honest. i am looking forward to Scarface next week as i enjoy that character.
as far as other villians that aren't of major status i, too, enjoyed Clock King. would also love to see Black Mask. i hope we don't see Cluemaster again.
anyway, that's my 2 cents. can't wait for Scarface! don't get me wrong....i love the show...just not this episode.

[shadow=green,left,300]oh and FYI...NOTHING is worse than Yu-Gi[/shadow] You have never read the first few Yu-Gi-Oh comics ShonenJump run then... because oh man are those cool. See it wasn't always a bad commerical for a CCG, the begins of the comic had Yugi playing all sorts of games... and his Dark Yugi persona would show up to not to win a hand of cards but to brutally punish anyone who hurt his friends.... this almost always means a horrible fiery death that's far too severe for whatever they did. So yeah, my points is... nothing is worse then the Yu-Gi-Oh CARTOON... but there are few things in life cooler then seeing someone burnt to a crisp because they were being a bully. -__- I have no on topic comment since once again I over slept and missed the Batman.

Thank you, Dr. Baghead. I love the version of the story in Shonen Jump, so while the cartoon is basically trash, I will not insult the masterful work of a talented Japanese artist just because of what some greedy comercialists did when they adapted it into a Saturday morning advertisement. No offense to anyone, I'm sure most people are in the dark about the franchise's original glory.

When the people were asking question to Cluemaster.....I kept thinking why not ask who Batman is? And surly enough Batman asks that.
This episode was full of comedy. And I like comdies. But someparts dont fit in well with batman. It was funny that cluemaster had "tiny" "friends" and that he gained all that weight because he ate all thoe stuff that he got a life supply of. But bruce listening to some weird music at the begining was very off and I had a disgust face on me cause they try to hard to make hime look cool but with thtat music.....it just doesnt work. I give this episode a 3 out of 5

I liked the character of Cluemaster. Of revamping any of the Batman villians character wise Cluemaster is one of the best next to Man-Bat. His comic book persona was not very interesting, The Batman version is. ProfessorH !
