I guess this is the official talk back page for 5.1. My God I love everything about this Superman. From his design to his mannerisms I feel my ideal Superman has finally been done. I feel both Supes and Clark are designed somewhat from Brandon Routhe. Oh BTW I love this clumsy/awkward version of Clark. Here's hoping 5.2 will have an epic battle between Superman and the Dark Knight. What are your thoughts?

I think you're going to get your wish regarding the "epic battle" next week.
I didn't get a big Brandon vibe off of Superman, but definitely off of Clark.
I actually prefer a slightly less awkward Clark, just because Clark is Superman's chance to live an interact with friends as a normal person and I'm bothered by the thought if him distancing everyone by pretending to be SO painfully awkward. But it's a valid choice and not one we've seen for a while and it was done well.
Get ready for lots of Bats vs. Supes in part two, and at least one moment of Batman being a real S.O.B.!
Chris

I didn't like Lois and Luthor in the "TB" style of animation, and since when does Mr Freeze have powers? Other then that it was great to hear Dana Delaney and Clancy Brown again, and I really liked the scene where Clayface kidnaps Lois

Just finished watching it and it wasn't that bad. It looks like everything I want to see in the episode will happen next week. However, it didn't really feel like a Batman episode, and Superman is indeed the more stand offish type than Batman is. I hope you all enjoy it when you get the chance to watch it.

The way Mr. Freeze was presented in this episode was consistant with all his appearances in this verions of The Batman. Chris

WoOoOoOoOo!!! What a pretty cool episode to kick off the new season.
I like the interaction between Dick Grayson and Jimmy Olsen at the begining debating over Superman & Batman, and then when Supes makes his big entrance Dick is all like "Whoa"
Metallo was a great choice of a villian to use, he is super cool
And speaking of villians, how many of Batman's did we get to see Five? And they were used in a good manner, usually when villians are grouped together they are taken down and out quickly, and this wasn't really the case with Bane, Mr. Freeze & Clayface. I can't really say much about Black Mask, and Poison Ivy though, especially Poison Ivy....
This was a fun episode and how Bats & Supes found out about each other identity was great, I am really looking forward to part II next week, I have already set the DVR to record the series
8/10

A great start with the new season. My only problems were that we still had the same opening from season 4, and Lois's design. It just didn't feel like Lois to me with her wearing a tie. I liked how they used the Batvillains in this episode, showing this isn't going to be all JL all season. I also liked Mercy's design.
Can't wait for part two.
Now, everybody has to know Batman kept some of that kryptonite for himself right?

Now that I think about it, since Batman is supposed to be younger then everybody else should look/be younger too

I was wondering if Batman kept a piece of the kryptonite or not. He seemed to have given back whole to Fox but maybe he didn't. We should know next week

Does anyone want THE ENTIRE screen shots of the Part 1 episode? Because i have a lot and i am kinda busy with work and school. cuz uploading it one by one is a drag and takes a long time.
What I can do is uploaded it on a zip file and you guys can download it! Or post a couple important screenshots that I found are cool.
Tell me what you guys think!

I really liked the ep. I think Superman trying to be the loner is kinda a good reflecter of his idea that he is near invulnerable and cant cost getting anyone else hurt. Liked how Lois and Clark live across the hall from each other in the same building. I think thats funny. All the batvillians were awesome. Really hope the JOker shows up in part 2. The new batbot is awesome. Also hopefully we see the bat-transformers later since they were in the background. I also like how Lex is, imo, is modeled more after Michael Rosenbaums look than anything else. Pretty awesome ep that I thought fit all together very well. And if this ep is any indicator of this season, this season is gonna be freakin awesome.

Saw part 2 earlier today and I was happy with the conclusion. I thought they managed Robin a lot better than I first thought they would and look forward to next weeks episode with Green Arrow. I just hope that the third episode will be Batman and close allies only so we don't have too much of "brave and the bold" all at once. I hope the rest of the season goes like this!

I think the first ep was better, but this was still pretty good. Loved the Batman/bot vs Superman battle. Why does the batbot always have to get destroyed ? And I love how its always changing size. One scene makes it look like its more like a suit of armor, another makes it seem like its the size of a small mecha where hes fully sitting in the chest area. The original batbot suffered from that to. Im really surprised that Batman would let Robin even just try to distract Superman. Superman would easily break him in half. Seems like way to much danger to be putting a teenage sidekick into. Really wished Joker was in this ep. And Clancy Brown re-voicing Lex kinda threw me off. Kinda like "that voice isnt supposed to be there".
