Relax -- it's not the end of the season or the series. But "The Batman" episode airing this Saturday, February 9 is entitled "The End of The Batman." As usual, the episode will air at 11:30 a.m. on Kids' WB! on The CW. The synopsis:"Batman and Robin meet their criminal twins, Wrath and Scorn, a dynamic duo dedicated to helping villains. Matters get even more complicated when Batman and Wrath uncover each other's secret identity." Guest characters include a cavalcade of villainy: Joker, Penguin, Ventriloquist, Killer Croc and Wrath/Will Mallory & Scorn/Andy Mallory. " The End of The Batman" is written by Robert Goodman and directed by Vinton Heuck.

Weird. It's like they're exact clones. Is that gonna be the twist? I think I should mention that the Wrath is also coming back in the Batman Comics in a new storyline starting in issue 13 of Batman Confidential this month. Just thought some people who like the Wrath in this episode would like to know.

I'm really looking forward to this ep.
And can anyone else see a TRU exclusive 4pack based on this ep? Heck!! Mattel already has Wrath and Scorn figures halfway made without even trying, going by the preview pics. Same body, just need a new head and paint job.

Awesome, I was just hoping the newer show would have included another Justice Leaguer. I guess I'll have to wait till Hawkman's appearance!!!

Looks pretty good.
Although one thing I don't like is when they group villians together, because there is never enough time to get them all in and they are taken out way too easily.

I wasn't really a big fan of the Batman, until the added Robin. Now I watch it on Boomerrang to catch up. Sounds like a great episode.

The Wrath is cool. I like him and the potential that he brings to the TB mythos. I think it is a bit ridiculous that he has a sidekick that looks exactly like a blond Robin. An evil version of Batman is pretty cool and it is not that far of a leap. The fact that he also has a sidekick that is the same age as Robin is just ridiculous.

This episode was awesome! There was nothing I didn't like here. So far, this is the best episode of Season 5. 10/10 for me.

Great episode and nice new way to introduce Wrath without having to kill off his parents also. But question...
If Wrath is the same age as bruce - and his parents were imprisoned on the night Bruce's parents died than Wrath was just a child and scorn was not even alive {unless the age gap between them isnt much - therefore maybe Scorn was a baby still?!? So when was Scorn concieved if his parents were jail? unless the parents broke out had scrorn than were imprisoned again.... its not very clear...
Appart from that and the fact i thought into it too much- Joker was great as usual; and it played out well. 8/10

I haven't had a chance to see the episode yet, but this is an adaptation of a comic book story by Mike Barr and Michael Golden that was a little different. The original comic story had no sidekicks to be found, and the Wrath was out for revenge on James Gordon who had SHOT and KILLED Wrath's parents when he was a young officer on the same night the Wayne's were killed. It's pretty dark and there's a lot of death, so when I heard they were doing a version of the character in Season 5 I assumed that there would have to be a lot of changes. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrath_(comics)Chris

Another good ep. Loved Robin's line of "Now even the guys in the superhero outfits are shooting at us" (or something to that affect). I can't believe how trashed the batcave was after the big fight. I really loved though how at the end Joker reclaimed his title of him being the ultimate anti-Batman. Really hope we get Wraith and Scorn figures. Heck, as Ive said, mattel has them already halfway made without even trying. Can definately see a TRU exclusive 4pack based on this ep. DrGreenEvil

I enjoyed the episode and thought the outcome of Wrath and Scorn was well done with the Joker. How many times do people have to go through that before they know to keep the Joker happy at all costs
