I'm just wondering because discussion on this board is dead. Not even season two news is getting discussion.

Despite a promising opening, the show quickly flattened IMO. I plan on giving the 2nd season a chance, but not teribly optimistic it'll be vastly improved even with all the changes planned. I dont expect it to really grow beyond what it is and what we've seen.

This show has fallen into the category where SMALLVILLE is at for me. Unless the ep sounds interesting or I know theres gonna be alot of Superman/DC mythos refs, I just skip it. Plus I kinda become even less of a Superman fan everyday. I watched the latest new ep with the bottled city or Kandor and how Clark brought back Krypton. It was ok, but I really only watched to see Corey Burton return as Brainiac. (Even though the cameo was only 3 secs long.) Now if they make an action figure based on this shows version, ill definately get it. Loved how it was a cross between the DCAU Brainiac and Brainey in appearance. And I watched the ep with Karate Kid this last weekend. It was really weak.
And one reason I don't post here is because no one has started new threads. YEAH!! YEAH!! I know, "Why don't you start the threads then?". I'm lazy, ok.

Ive only seen half or just bits and pieces from a couple of the new eps. Seems same ole same ole to me. My hopes for the series were quickly shot after the first 3-4 eps and my hopes for its improvement this season sunk almost immediately from what ive seen and heard. Too bad in a way but then Ive never been a Legion fan anyway. Im just more deppressed by the lack of quality toons... whether fully "younger audience" geared or not.

I admit, I still watch the show every Saturday, even when it's a repeat. I've never been a big Legion fan, but I gave it a shot in the first season, and I actually like it. Second season, however, has left me yawning more often than not. Jumping forward an unknown amount of time was disconcerting (I confess, I missed the last episode of Season One). The aged characters are leaving me cold. The new characters aren't nearly as lovable as the original. I adored Brainy, thought he was just hilarious. Now he's either completely absent or utterly joyless. Older Superman is a little too self-righteous. The inexperienced kid learning to use his powers was part of the attraction to Season One. Superman-X is just a super-powered jerk. Duo Damsel is a bit too angsty. The entire season centered around The Big Bad Guy and His Big Bad Guy Allies is just plain depressing. I want the fun back. The Teen Titans show managed to balance The Big Bad with fun. Season Two of Legion just isn't hitting that mark. I know, I'm oversimplifying things, but that's how I feel.
I would definitely buy action figures based on Season One characters. Not so sure about Season Two or beyond. Not even sure I'm going to keep watching much longer.

I've been watching Season 2 every weekend... And it is AMAZING! Animation is better than last year. They've gone for a more mature darker season which is great.
My favorite episode so far was the one featuring Lightning Lad's past. Very well written emotional story. You guys should check out this season. IT'S AWESOME!
The writing for the stories this season is well written and really interesting. So far I think LOSH has provided better episodes this season than The Batman.

I've been keeping up to date with Season 2 and let me tell you: its like The Batman Season 4 total 180 degree shift.
Animation and designs are much cleaner, the stories follow an arc (Imperiax and now BRAINIAC!) with powerful scripts, and its just really fun to watch.
I agree with ayenlou that Chained Lightning was a great episode. Lightning Lass finally appears (sorta).
But the best episode IMO, was the most recent Message in a Bottle where Braniac makes his appearance, voiced by the original S:TAS Brainiac himself.
My only problem with this Season 2 is that Kal-El has been pushed aside and so far out of all the episodes that have aired, only appears in about half of them. Even Cosmic Boy is getting in more lines than the original man of steel. Saturn Girl also has yet to come back to season 2 and bouncing boy and phantom girl have had very limited screentime. I wish they could give more of the original legionaires from season 1 be included in more episodes.

i just saw the episode dealing with the Kandor city. Very very interesting episode. looks like things will get interesting in the future with brainac back in the game.
Most of the crew from the Batman season 4 moved over to LOSH which is prolly why its so good this season.

I do but the second season is unorganized and kind of boring, in my opinion.

Hi I've watched LoSH season 1 and what's been aired of season 2 so far. I liked season 1 but i gotta say I'm liking Season 2 a whole lot more.
I don't mind the big over-spanning Imperiex plot, or the clone and i liked the character makeovers.
Lightning lad has grown into a hunk and matured a lot mentally was well as physically. Brainiac's haircut was a welcome change and i like Duo Damsel's new style.
Chameleon boy is amusing, Shrinking Violet is a great character and the clone Kell El had actual character development. Not bad!
The only nitpicks i have about season 2 is that i sort of miss the little Bouncing boy humor VS Brainiac 5 moments from season one and that some characters like Phantom Girl and Duo Damsel etc have taken a backseat. Also, while it was nice to hear him talk, Star boy still feels very obscure to me as a character.

I lot of people are mad because they say he's not that important to be used as such a great and terrible villain.

I've also noticed that some people aren't too thrilled about Imperiex. They'd rather see Darkseid i guess.
Darkseid is more formidable and menacing then Imperiex, If they make a season 3 maybe he'll show up in that one? But it's a big maybe, chances are that if we get another season they will feature Mordu, more of the Legion of Supervillains, Fatal 5 and a bunch of villains we haven't seen yet, not one big bad.

I think the show has jumped the shark a bit. Season 2 and they all get revamped, people die? Honestly if it is season 4 or 5 I would understand because it would have made a bigger impact on us due to falling in love with certain charatchers.
Also the whole 2 superman deals? I so dont think that is cool. Keep the older one but that clone, super amped bit....eh not feeling it. Also, I think if they would introduce Batman or another "legendary" hero to the show it might boost the ratings a bit.
Do you think LOSH belongs in The Batman Timeline?

I kinda like the 2 Supermans thing. It something different. Another hero would be cool. But Batman wouldnt be used because a young Batman is what THE BATMAN is covering. A young Dr. Fate would be cool. And no, LOSH is not part of THE BATMAN timeline.
