This is definately the best episode of LOSH yet. Solid animation, more character indepth, and Kryptonite!
The action scenes were really top notch in this episode. Great to see TImber Wolf again. I found Phantom Girl a little annoying in the beginning but she saved the day at the end and won back a little respect. I know we'll be seeing Drax again soon and I bet he'll be even better next time. I dont think I've seen this much action since "Panic in the Sky"

Next week's episode is like one we've all seen before. Intergalact battle for the enjoyment of the masses. We've already seen this on Samurai Jack, JL, and Ben 10, probably others. Hopefully it wont be just the same thing.

[shadow=green,left,300] Thanks for posting this Tim, I would have but I was watching the rest of The Batman lol. ;D I enjoyed this episode a lot, and Timberwolf is back again . I loved Drax, his costume was cool too, Phantom Girl was a little annoying but she ended up saving everyone in the end. I love that scene with her and Timberwolf, Timberwolf: " Stay here." Phantom girl: " I'm tired of you thinking I can't handle the job because it's too messy for me. *climbs down in hole* Eww!" Timberwolf: " *smiles* It was a good episode, I hope we see more of Drax in the future. [/shadow]

DANGIT... dont know where my head was at but I missed most of it. I caught on the last portion and liked what I saw though. It seemed like at least a decent episode from what I saw. I liked the "nods" to characters in what I assume was supposed to be the Phantom Zone.

The only character I recognized in the Phantom Zone was Doomsday. I liked this episode. Like Alexis was to Luthor, Drax was to Zod. The Kryptonian dogs were awesome. I thought the line where Drax replies that he is evil was corny. Great animation, good story, great job.

I also loved the dogs, really seemed to resemble other creatures in the past Timmverse (though I can't pin-point it) I think it was one of Superman's pets in Batman Beyond's "The Call"?

Wow. Great episode. It was definitely action-packed and intense. LoSH definitely has its feet wet now. Hope to see it continue to grow.
I saw both Doomsday and Darkseid in the Phantom Zone.
We may have also just witnessed our first Superman "deluxe" figure.....that is - if the toy line every gets released.

Doomsday and Darkseid? I did not catch that. Anyone have any screen shots. I'll just have to watch it again later since I recorded it.

I was really hoping Draz would turn out to be Zod, considering he had a big Z on his chest. Cool to see Doomsday and Zod in the Phantom Zone though. Maybe they will make an appearance later in the series.

Just a thought but would someone here like to write a summary of the episode in this thread for the people who didn't get to see it (or haven't had the chance to)?

I'd be happy to Phantoms: While wandering in the Superman museum, Clark stumbles upon a projector that can identify him as Superman. Curious about the object, Clark takes a closer look, and accidentally opens a portal to the phantom zone, which frees Drax, a foe equal to that of Superman's abilities. Once free, Drax starts causing trouble, which causes the science police to appear but barely lay a scratch on him. The Legion shows up and fights off Drax's two pets (similar to krypto) while Superman goes head to head with Drax himself. After a LOT of great action scenes, Drax starts hearing voices from his head, telling him to not forget his purpose. His pets fly him off to an unknown area as the Legionaires start studying their new enemy. The next day the pets strike again. Phantom Girl and Timberwolf take on one down in the sewers while Lightning and Saturn Girl fight on land. Questions start rising as to where Brainiac 5 is during all this action. It's answered immediately when we go back to the HQ, where Drax is abusing Brainiac to find the phantom projector, so he could free the 'voices' from the portal. Trying to trick Drax, Brainiac instead reveals kryptonite! Unfortunately, althought he and Superman shre the same DNA, Drax isnt affected. Brainiac momentarily kicks the crud out of Drax but is then close to being defeated when Superman shows up. During the rest of the episode, which is about 10 minutes, its a completely amazing showdown between Superman and Drax. During the fight, Superman finds the projector, but Drax makes it take the other Legionaires into the phantom zone, and then crushes the projector. In the zone, the Legionaires are stuck, unless Brainiac can take them back that may cost Phantom Girl's fasing abilities to remain permanent. The showdown continues with Superman trying to get answers but being constantly interrupted by heat vision, or a punch in the gut. This happens for a couple more minutes until Brainiac and the others get out and send Drax back in. The moment right before Drax was kicked back in, he got ahold of the black sphere containing the kryptonite. In this episode, we see a lot of relationships growing and a lot of character development. Specifically, well, all the characters. Timberwolf and PG start forming what seems to be a growing friendship. SG and LL are also going in the same route, but it seems only LL is trying. Superman of course, is finding out more of his powers, his origin from Drax, etc. Brainiac 5 is revealed to having obtained some Kryptonie, and like Prof. Strange from TB, constantly observes Superman with fascination. This is by far, the best episode to air yet. And I think that streak will continue for a while

And wasnt there another that looked like the original Zod? Yeah, it was Zod. Or at least I took it to be the case anyhow. As for the ep, it was solid, but the show still hasn't hooked me really. It's okay, but none of the voice acting has sold me the way it did on previous DCU toons, the stories have been solid, but forgetable, and I still don't like the changes made to Brainiac 5, or much see the reason why they were made in the first place. None of that is a deal breaker for me, and I'm still watching, but it just hasn't really grabbed me yet, and so far I'm had more fun playing spot the cameo than I have with the show as a whole. The one real gripe, that opening theme is just truly God awful though... Sev.

Do you mean the theme song? I find it quite catchy, remebering its not Timmverse related or anything. It's a fun theme

Personally I find it the worst and most annoyingly overdone and ill fitting theme in DCU Animation history, I absolutely loathe it. But hey, opinions vary.
