Yes. It's true. Krypto has his own series that will be coming out on Cartoon Network in the spring of 2005. Here's a site that has a few pics if you must see them. www.mediasharx.com/index.php/news/2340Personally, I can't be more disappointed. MOTU is cancelled, but Krypto gets his own show?! MOTU wasn't the greatest show on tv, but, Krypto isn't even with Superman or Superboy!! Wazzup wit' dat? I like Krypto and all - in the Superman universe. The only funny animals that I enjoy watching are Rocky & Bullwinkle, Bugs and the WB crew and Tom & Jerry (and Co.). I can sit thru a Mickey cartoon, if it has Donald or Goofy in it. Mighty Mouse is ok from a nostalgic point of view. Heck, if you need to run something that is a funny animal show, bring back [glow=red,2,300]Danger Mouse!!![/glow] I predict this will be as bad as the Catwoman movie.  Ok, maybe not that bad but close!! |

Xmen Evo really came into it's own that last season. I really liked the way the show was going. Again, a good show that didn't get picked up for another season, especially since, from what I had read, the ratings had been improving.
What's next? Beppo the Super Monkey?

This could actually be good. It's been a while since we had a good super hero dog 'toon. I miss Hong Kong Fooey, Dynomutt and UNDERDOG! I'm not holding my breath, but it would be cool to see some cameos.

There are just soooo many other DC properties that could have had their own slot Blocko - I think this one's gonna be a 1 season deal. They could have done the long rumored GL series, Lobo, or Thundercats (wishful thinking I know). That episode of Duck Dodgers with the GL Corps in it showed how great a GL cartoon could be in my mind.

I believe he had a really annoying voice kinda like H.E.R.B.I.E. the robot from the FF 'toon. Lou Scheimer (who also produced countless 'toons) was the voice (although I've seen Lennie weinrib credited with it also). He also played Orko in the original MOTU series (source imdb). |

heck! i was a lil kid!!I sure liked it though...they still showed it in WB kids iin latin america at the "batcave"hr. It always excited me.
BUT!!I loathed batmite soo fricking much...he screwd up the cartoon...and there were some things that really made no sense...like Batman the inventor, I remember he created helium paint, you painted something and it started to float, and some other crap like that...OH!!and the lesson of the day....LOL!!that was funny as heck...

Bat Mite might've worked in an episode of Batman as long as they made the thing intellegent and misterious...
Kinda like Toyman in the Superman Cartoon. In the 70's cartoon he was the ultimate in dumbness...
In the new Superman he was a retarded genious, cool, but crazy.

I really dont like a lot of the cheesy stuff,but darn if those Superpets arent my one weakness.For some reason I LOVE the thought of Krypto,Streaky,and Ace running around fighting crime with their masters....so much so I have even shopped for and considered making a costume for my dog.....and not just on Halloween,this is a year-round thing I have waaayyyy too much free time on my hands.... |

2 stupid dogs is still on. You just have to be up at the right time of the morning to catch it. Don't ask me what time it was - baby was up and so was I - but I saw it just a month ago on either Nick or CN.
I totally agree with you on the Krypto toon by the way. Like I mentioned earlier, if they wanted another DC show on the air, there are so many other properties that I think would have been better. GL Corps, Lobo, heck - make a Plastic Man cartoon for all I care - just don't subject me to the torture of Krypto the dog wonder.
