 - meh. I still say its a bad idea for a DC toon (Krypto). I will try to keep an open mind and let it unfold.

 - meh. I still say its a bad idea for a DC toon (Krypto) Gotta remember, this isnt Nec. a show for "us". Its specifically designed for like the 4-10 year olds. In that regard I think its great! Any attempt to expand and bring the DCU to the public eye is good news IMO. Plus I think its a CUTE concept ;D What else could they really do after all? I think most would likely throw a fit if they did a "League of Justice Babies"! (although knowing me, I would probably find that CUTE too lol)

I agree, it's a cute idea, and a fine way to attract very young viewers to the DC Universe. I (barely) remember when I was young, I liked Krypto. And hey, it could be so much worse. They could have brought back Bat-Mite!

For my thoughts (and other's thoughts too, lol) on Krypto we discussed quite a while ago here: legionsofgotham.proboards2.com/index.cgi?board=dcanimated&action=display&n=1&thread=2917There are pics available here and here.

Its for kids... Its for kids... Its for kids...
ok.
none of these toons are aimed at anyone over 17 I believe...just check the advertising associated with the DC toon your watching.
Looking at the members list, 2 thirds of us at LOG are not the target audience.
food for thought. ;D

Yeah but this one really really is intended just for little ones....and I can't wait to have my son watch it...just more DC to indoctrinate him with! lol. And I'm certain I'll get some enjoyment out of it also.

Let's hope Mattel or better yet Bandai puts some toys out for it. I'm sure my little girl would like them.

And I'm certain I'll get some enjoyment out of it also. I agree, Matt! My daughter will love this show! I find that shows like this are a nice alternative to the grittier stories that can be seen on JLU (and even "The Batman" to a degree) for our very young DC fans! ....and having Ace the Bat-Hound in it won't hurt either!

....and having Ace the Bat-Hound in it won't hurt either! C'Mon! Now who wouldnt looove that!? Brilliant! Its like the Teen Titans, it was geared for the slightly younger audience too and has had great success. It just happened to still have an appeal to many of us (understandably some more than others). Krypto is designed for an even still YOUNGER audience. Honestly, regardless of what you may think of the show or even the concept. What would you rather have the tykes watching? (especially your own)...Barney, Teletubbies? Krypto may likely be silly and all, but at least it wont cause you and your child friggin siezures! LOL

yeah Spawn is great, they're actually making a fourth season of that. i cant wait. the thing with krypto is that it really is aimed at young kids especially if it is being shown at 9:30 in the morning. i cant even watch it, i'll be at work and i dont know if its worth taping.
