Im pretty sure Ace, "the Bat Hound", was only in BB as far as animated series go.

To the best of my knowledge and recolection, Ace: the Bat-hound's only solid animated appearance has been in Batman Beyond. And at that time, he appeared as a normal dog with no costume Etc. simply a companion and "Guard dog" for Old Bruce. Believe the breed was something like a Great Dane?
Ace originated during the "Silver Age"? of comics and appeared regularly for a while in that era (when camp and sillyness was the popular flavor). At that time he seemed more of a German Shepherd and actually wore mask and cape. This new version appears to be an amalgam of all.?

[shadow=green,left,300]firstly, welcome to LoG freizerader and other newbies! Its great to have ya!
To confirm...no he never appeared on BTAS or TNBA. He was Batman Beyond only. Keep in mind he was a younger dog in the show...so he really couldn't have appeared prior to that by much.
as for the Krypto series...keeping in mind that its geared towards very small children, Ace plays a similar role to Krypto that bats does to supes..he's a bit more grim and focused[/shadow]
