i can't believe this is still being debated. anyone who has read any original teen titans stuff knows its Dick Grayson. look at the clues they drop to let you know. Dick Grayson grows up to become Nightwing, which also shows you that teen titans takes place before everything else. the robin imps name is dick grayson spelled backwards, the subtle love affair between Robin and Starfire (the only reason they dont hook up or kiss on the show is that its more a kids show, and the fact that its basically them only like 5 years younger). Tim Drake, Jason Todd(which is ridiculous, he was never even in the Titans. sorry BATDAN) were never with Starfire, Dick Grayson was. also if it was Tim Drake and it was based on a newer Titans series, then why aren't Speedy and Aqualad, named Arsenal and Tempest? also Terra died before Tim Drake was born.
AND HERE'S THE BIG TIPOFF, the feud between Slade and Robin. Tim Drake has only dealt with Deathstroke on a few occasions, Dick Grayson and Slade Wilson have gone to war. they battle and they have history. history that started in the original teen titans series.
NOW TO THE MAIN QUESTION OF THIS BOARD: It would most likely be the Batman from "Batman: the animated series" as thats the only other series with Robin as Dick Grayson, then becoming Nightwing. its also on point with the comic to an extent.
THOUGH AS I HAVE SAID: TEEN TITANS TAKES PLACE BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE.

I agree that it's probably Dick - I think what's throwing people off is the costume, which resembles Tim's.

 i think you got it in 1 reideen,the costume is causing most of the confusion,i just assumed it was Drake until i seen the Nightwing ep

that is true, and he was originally using a steel bo as a weapon. tim uses that. they've finally changed that and given him his kenpo sticks that he uses as nightwing. but remember when "Batman: the animated series" came out Dick was wearing a similar costume to what he wears in "Teen Titans".

Ohhhh.....I see ;D I watched that episode and didn't even realized it, Thanks.  Since Robin has new design in the TT series, I'm not sure if that Batman is from the original animated series or not. But it's a possibility... |
