You guys be nice to him. He's trying so hard not to give anything away. I'll back him up though and say that the Batman sets look incredible. Steve LEGO Community Relations Coordinator Welcome Steve. As both a Batfan and a Lego fan let me say that it's great to have you posting here. 2006 looks like it's going to be an amazing year for TLC. Both the Piraka and Exo Force sets look great (I've already purchased some from shop@home) and I love the light up features. Batman is a big kids dream come true. When Lego first introduced Alpha Team all I could think of was how great a super hero line would be, but I never imagined that Lego would go in that direction. Then came the Sony Pictures Spiderman and anything seemed possible. With Dino Attack Lego introduced some major high tech vehicles which made me (whoopie, yeah, happy dance) really happy. Okay, so maybe Lego would one day make an in house super hero theme but Batman......well this is beyond my wildest expectations. Now that I got my initial rant outta the way, let me welcome you again to LOG, Steve. We look forward to some great discussions with you about what is sure to be a real winning line for Lego.

Hi, While not so official a LEGO person as Steve, and not so cool a Batman dude as Jeff, I too was there and saw the new sets. You guys will not be dissapointed. From a LEGO fan and builder standpoint, I see these as a super line of sets. Lots of bricks, lots of characters, lots of play value. We were all giddy as schoolboys while we were playing with the sample sets, whooshing stuff around and humming Batman music.
This 34 year old became 10 immediately! I'm sorry you guys can't see the stuff yet, but you will soon and you'll love it.

The sets were indeed above and beyond my expectations. It also was really funny to watch the group get so excited about everything.

Well I don't have much to say since the other guys pretty much said it all. I guess I can say the Batman sets look AWESOME AND I GOT TO SEE THEM FIRST. Yeah, so there are several of us Lego dudes around now.

Welcome Grand Admiral! I love having more Lego guys around the forum. Now I can make references like "I can hardly wait to create my own Brave and the Bold scenes like Batman and Dash vs. Ogel and the Scarecrow (or Bane, or Penguin)" .............okay maybe it doesn't sound exciting but for me it's extremely cool! Well, at least you guys'll understand ;D

I can confirm that the Batman sets use flesh colors for the minifigs. We're all chomping at the bit to spill it about the sets, but we can't talk until LEGO gives us the go-ahead. We can say that they're REALLY cool.

Hello Legions of Gotham, my name is Lenny and I also went to the LEGO HQ with Jeff et al. The new sets are amazing. But what really made the trip wonderful was spending time with dear friends, and making new friends. You see, with new and old friends, one is silver and the other is gold.
But back to the Batman Sets. WHOO - WEEE they were awesome awesome awesome!! They are going to be the coolest ever.
And re: the comment about Batman vs. Ogel - I'm totally looking for that show down. Ogel might lose more than just his hand!!
-Lenny

None of the upcoming Batman LEGO sets are based on any of the movie properties.
I don't know if LEGO will be interested in making sets of future movie properties. They didn't tell us about any such plans.
