7781 Batmobile: Two-Face's Escape

This is the third set in the LEGO Batman line, at $29.99
The Batmobile bears closest resemblance to the 1989 Batman film version. It's fun to roll around, and is a sturdy model. The canopy and trunk are both hinged, and the missile on the front end launches and can be used to knock Two-Face off his van.
I like the fact that Batman can carry all his gear around in the Batmobile. The Batboat set doesn't have anywhere in particular for him to store his gear, so pieces could be lost. The Batmobile's trunk is large enough to hold all 3 Batarangs, 2 bat-shuriken, and the handcuffs.
The cockpit of the Batmobile is the best of any of his vehicles. There are switches to either side of him (stickers) and a nifty computer in front of the steering wheel. (printed) The canopy hinges open to the front, allowing him to leap into action.
Two-Face's van is actually one of the most impressive examples of the LEGO Company's attention to detail. They actually went to the trouble of making one half of the van smooth and white, while the other half is dark gray and rough.
If the missile from the Batmobile is launched into the round piece on the rear of Two-Face's van, it will flip the top of the van up, sending Two-Face flying! This is a fun action feature, but you have to lift the nose of the Batmobile up slightly in order to launch the missile accurately.
You get three minifigs in this set: A Batman in black costume (bearing resemblance to the 1989 movie), Two-Face, and his henchman. Two-Face's hair is especially nifty. It's a molded white piece, painted black on one side. It looks great.
This set includes a small polybag containing the weapons. Included are handcuffs, a pistol, "tommy-gun" submachine gun, 3 batarangs, and two bat-shuriken that can fit onto the tip of the pistol.
This is my favorite set of the LEGO Batman line. The Batmobile looks good, but the attention paid to the design of the Two-Face van really makes the set for me.
