This sounds cool. It'll be (hopefully) a cheap way of getting Riddler and Scarecrow. Edit: there are now pics of these two sets!! linkLooks like the extra villain in the riddler set is BANE!! Although he's far too small, but since that's a preliminary pic they could still make a large figure of him. |

Its nice to that there's life still in Batman LEGO. I was getting worried since nothing new came out during the X-mas season. Hopefully well see some more as we get closer.
When are they slated for release?

Most likely these will come out during the summer time. Also there's rumor of two more sets coming out this year.

Oh wow. I'm so glad the forum is still here. I tried going the main website, and it wouldn't load.. Totally started freaking out. I can't wait for these sets. Even though I still gotta get Arkham..

Some more info is being discussed over at Eurobricks. It seems that Batman will be dark blue and grey (don't know which logo though) in both sets.

[glow=red,2,300] Hmm I like the tank not as good as the other sets but still nice,riddler waiting for the arkham set,but the tank is worth it,
But Bane is the biggest disapointment a white top ,blue trousers, really Im just going to take the head and the torso and customize it into a larger more comic accurate looking Bane, still nice set though.  [/glow] |

I overall dislike the set. The only reason why I may get it is for the Bane and his bike, but that's it. I'm still waiting to find out what the other two sets are. Hopefully we'll get more and better pics from Toy Fair, which is this Sunday!!

Overall, I'm not that impressed. I'm getting the vibe that maybe LEGO isn't interested in Batman anymore. The Bat-copter looks Ok, but it just doesn't seem creative. I'm not that interested in the tank either.
I will probably get them for spare parts and the minifigs.
I am worried that we are not going to see them until August. It has been a long time since we have seen new Batman lego products.

I'm glad to see Bane as well as some sets for those villains who came locked up in Arkyham. I hope they aren't held off until August, but I didn't know about the Arkyham set for sometime.

Terrific pics Batmaster! As far as release date, it might be real soon. The new Castle and Mars Mission sets are now available on shop@home in the US & Canada (possibly elsewhere also). I believe new city sets are also available and so are new SW sets, although I don't think they're available in North America yet. Anyway keep checking Lego Shop.

In another LEGO discussion board, there is a rumor going around that LEGO has a The Dark Knight line waiting in the wings for next year. An obvious choice would be the batmobile. Maybe the Joker would get a vehicle. Maybe even go so far as the Batcave
