 Legions of Gotham has confirmed with LEGO corporate... While LEGO will be producing more Batman product next year, there are currently no plans for LEGO toys based on the film 'The Dark Knight' Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but Since collectors were buzzing we thought we'd clear that up! If anything changes, we'll let you know asap! |

Thank you so much for the news MATT! I am so happy that there will be more Batman products from LEGO! I would have loved to see The Dark Knight sets, but this is better then no Batman stuff... ...I was hoping for a cool TDK-Joker Keychain  But a big YEAH! to more Batman LEGO ;D |

I don't know why it would be a problem for LEGO. I know that LEGO has the license to do any Batman related stuff from any media. I would love to have seen a Batman Begins Batmobile or even now the Batpod.
Still, I'm just glad LEGO is keeping up with new LEGO products.

well its good to know lego are still doing batman products, i got a little worried when i found out we were only getting two sets this year, heres hoping for a clayface and firefly lego figs

If Lego is rereleasing the "Arkham Asylum" villians...
1. The Scarecrow - "Batcopter"
2. The Riddler - "Bat-Tank",
...is Poison Ivy coming soon?
And if Bane is included with The Riddler, wouldn't it be great if Harley Quinn is introduced with Poison Ivy? I can't wait for additional Lego sets.

I would like to have only new villians poison ivy is already released so why re release it?
harley quinn is a great option.
but then with another villain that is't released yet.

the ventrilequist is a great idea to but I don't know if they can or want to make it.
but if they are going to re release the vilains then I can't wait to see the pinguns restaurant or mr. freeze hideout.
and a bigger robin vehicle would be great to there are som many great stuff to think of. ;D

Movie will probably be too dark for Lego, Of course we are getting the video game so hopefully we'll see some sets that tie into that.

Just received the new Lego catalog for January 08 and no Batman lego's are featured or shown in the catalog, unfortunately.  However, I picked up one of the new gaming magazines, sorry don't recall which one, but they had pages of write up and a number of still shots from a trailer/demo Bat Lego game that the magazine got to play with. Very, very cool stuff. If you've played Star Wars lego, it looks like Joker will have the squirting flower on his jacket to disorient enemies. Yes, you can play as the Joker and solve the game. I just want Harley to have a bang gun (and yes, you can see a pic of her, too!) Sounds like it (and the Indiana Jones Lego game they mentioned) will be quite a step up in terms of story and playability. Fall 08 can't get here soon enough.  |

I love the Lego stuff but wish the prices were a little cheaper. My nephew wanted a Batmobile last year but I couldn't afford the hefty price tag, ha ha! As long as they keep making Batman Toys that's cool & I do like for there to be merchandise that's the "comic book" Batman & not just the movies.
Believe me, when this movie comes out, there will be Bat-Everything!!
