After Nolan's Batman 3
what direction do you think the series should go? Introduce Robin? Do the later Years of Batman? Adapt popular comics/graphic novels? "The Killing Joke, Knightfall?"

Maybe not to extreme but on that idea!

Let me clarify: When I say older, not like TDKR, but between BB & TDKR. Along the same time line as the original films, when he was older and established. With an actor the same age as Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney at the time. I say no older than late 30's

Trilogy featuring "mid 30's Batman in his prime operating at a high level of proficiency." First movie introduces 17-21 yr old Dick Grayson character (perhaps Richard or Rich for today day and age) and features Batman training him for the same sympathetic reasons in the comics. No Robin. 2nd movie features Robin's fledgling outing by the end of the second act. Some growing pains but proves his value to Batman by the conclusion. Third movie features a dynamic and operational Robin in full swing and concentrates on how integral and enjoyable the character can be to Batman mythos.

What about a live version of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm? Its already got a strong story, plot and characters. If Nolan and company ran with it after the trilogy is completed I bet it could be a stand alone.

i hope after nolan's films they can be a little bit more comic book-y. i mean not hokey quite to the extent of batman and robin. but still, and of course i would love to see robin and maybe some of the more outlandish villains like killer croc =D

Heres what I'm thinking...
Nolan, Bale, all of them will get together for a third film. But after that, I really don't see Bale or Nolan coming back. So at that time they are gonna have to recast Batman anyway, so at that time I see them bringing back the Joker. Recasting the Joker would be wrong, but recasting both leads at the same time isn't. Its weird like that.
I'd like to see the fourth one be Batman taking on the Joker again. Make it just a basic movie. Still continuing the series but going back to the beginning in a way. DrGreenEvil
My idea's for future films...
Lawrence Fishbourne as Mr. Freeze. Perhaps an adaptation of the current Batman RIP storyline. Or atleast Batman vs the Club of Villains.
