I just read dark detective

i enjoyed it but wasnt too impressed
i did like dr. double x making an appearence but felt the harvey dent clone was pretty stupid

there was a part where the scarecrow hides a fear gas capsule on batman's cape and it goes off

later the 2nd wave of the gas goes off and wayne has a flashback to when his parents died and some guy, his parents finance manager who had taken him in

it kind of looked like he was murdered?

did this actually happen? anhyone elaborate

it's not the best story, but it's good, and it was a way for the team to use characters they didnt use during their run on Detectve Comics. Scarecrow's gas causes hallucinations, not flashbacks, so what Batman saw was not real.

I wouldn't try to place this in regular continuity. From what I've heard, this is set pre-crisis to coincide with their first run.

that's correct. it takes place directly after their run on Detective Comics.
