Hush is one of my favorite Batman villains, do you think he could have a place in the next Batman movie? He's releastic, just like what Chris Nolan is going for.

Hush is the villain that I'm hoping for,for the next Batman film,he's a good choice and as i outlined in another thread he would bring a lot to the story, since Hush attacks Batman personally and not a city he's hell bend on ruining Batman so i think he's be the best choice for the next Batman movie.

I think if we see Hush, it will be in a limited role such as the way Zsasz was in BB. He is just too new to the comics I think. Comic fans know about him, but to the mainstream audience he is unheard of. I know that Ra's al Ghul was not very well known in the mainstream either (though more than Hush), but because Begins was focused on Batman a lot more than it was on the villain, it was an easier sell. I think Bane deserves a spot over Hush. Bane has been creeping into the mainstream, he has an awesome backstory (no pun intended), and he is a huge threat to Batman.

If Hush was to be put in in the next Batman film he would have to have his back story altered to fit the Nolan-verse more,There's no sign of Elliot in the Batman Begins Flashbacks but that's an easy fix.
Ideally i would have loved a cameo from him in this on so to set the movie villain for the next one but people woouls be like "Who the hell is that guy,and why is he staring at Bruce that way"
No your going to need an action villain for the next Batman film and a smart one at that Riddler is smart but i can't see him being a threat to Bats in a punch up where Tommy Elliot is tough and a genius driven surgeon.

My premise for the next movie would be Edward Nigma working for Wayne Enterprises (not Riddler just yet), Hush is trying to rule the city after the Joker's failed attempt (the Joker had escaped custody following the events of the Dark Knight and is nowhere to be found) and Two-Face is in a colma. The police try to deal with crime without the Batman's help, but Gordon attempts to secretly ask Batman to help because he knows they need him.

I don't know if the next movie would have the whole city wide one man in control thing again, its would be to similar to TDK,that's why i think the next one will be more a personal thing between Batman and who ever the villain is.

Yeah which is the premise for the third one i think,i mean if the third one had the whole city in danger thing people would complain that the movie was too similar to the other 2 before it and not as well done as The Dark Knight, this way its new territory and not trying to do the same thing as the The Dark Knight did.

I would rather they go ahead with what Goyer said and create a character just for the films, before using Hush. The character just doesnt really bring anything new to the franchise. Really the main thing he was used for in the books is that he knew Bruce as a child and somthing like that has already been portryaed with Rachel's character.

I hate the "Link guy" and don't want to be him but could I get a point in the direction of the Goyer article? I just love seeing what some of the thought processes are as these things develop. Goyer lost my confidence in the 3rd movie with Blade 3 though. He is at his best when collaborating with some one else ala the Bats movies.

id like to see two-face, the general public know who two-face is because of his brief appearance in the dark knight so they should explore how he wants revenge on Bruce/Batman and Jim for letting Rachel die.

I think Hush could work later on in the series, but I don't think he should be in the next one. Besides, he's not widely known to the public.

No, I don't think hush should be shown in the next Batman movie. I say this because he's not a very well known or popular character and people not very familiar with Batman will not know him! So it wouldn't make very much! Not to mention the quality may not be very good because not much has been seen or heard of him (that is compared to villains like the Joker, the Riddler, etc.).

[shadow=red,left,300]First, I would like to see Batman challenged on a more mental level, then a physical level.
Second, He would be very difficult to work into the Christopher Nolan series. Maybe he can make a cameo in the third film. Then become Hush in a later. [/shadow]

That's True the Joker, messed with Batman's head, see the post above is what i think the next Batman should be,and Hush is the kind of character to mess with bats mentally and is very capable of being able to do that physically.A combinatation of the two would make for a great Batman Nolan film.

Gotham City is and has always been a character within the Batman universe. For a villian to not pose a threat to the city in someway I think would take way from the Bat-experience. Batman is Batman because he has sworn to protect the city. It's okay to have a villian attack Bats personally but I feel the city should feel threatened as well.

I have a premise where he hires people like Deadshot, we can introduce guns for hire. Deadshot would wear a plastic bag over his head with one eye hole, similar to his mirror mask with that red scope eye.

The next Batman film's story line will be so different from The Dark Knight,i mean Nolan is the kind of Director that would not want to try and top his previous films or a film of The Dark Knight's caliber,no i see the next film going to a completely different direction.

He wouldn't want to try and top his previous film? Where would the challenge be? I think his motivation would be completely oppoiste. He would want to try and make each progressing sequel better then the previous movie.

on this note, as much as i would love Hush to make an appearance in the Batman movies, putting him in the spotlight in the next film would be.. dare i say, unwarranted. Hush is just too "young" so to speak in the Batman mythos. i say let's give the Penguin a chance, seeing as how he really is one of Bat's greatest advesaries. and as an arms dealer of course, and proprietor of the iceberg lounge. but yeah, i can see the Nolan brothers and Goyer going into probably a different direction.. with Begins, it was the start, with TDK, escalation, with the next one? hopefully retribution & hope...

And i know thats why Nolan returned to the series. But since Nolan said that he had given the Dark Knight every thing he had he might not be able to top it and he might not return if he can't do a better job on the third one, thats his nature if he can't do it better he wont do it.
