Many of my toys were purchased at Childsworld and I was wondering if you guys can help me compile a list from your earliest memories. Kresges was another store that my parents would take me to for toys so any help you can provide would be appreciated.
I remeber distinctly where I purchased my first Mego Heroes. Woolworths! I saw those figures and just had to have them! That day I picked up Batman (w/ removeable cowl), Robin, and Superman. As I recall, I purchased most of my Megos at that Woolworths!
Other stores that I remember as being big on toys were Kresge's, Clarks, Ontario, and Grant's.
I really use to love the five and dime stores. That's where you got the little plastic and cheapo goodies, like the Marx plastic Marvel Heroes, and the small Chemtoy plastic viewers that had two filmstrips of Superman, Bonanza, Land of The Giants and such.
Man...kids nowadays can't fathom the fun we had in the past!!!
These were the stores I used to get my Megos from... 1. Two Guy department store in Hanover NJ 2. Rockaway Sales in West Caldwell NJ 3. Woolworths in Wayne NJ 4. Grand Variety (Mom & Pop store in Caldwell NJ) 5. Childs World in East Hanover NJ 6. Toys R Us in Totowa NJ
Sadly all these stores with the exception of the TRU have all closed down. PJ

manstink: hey has their ever been a like origin story on martha wayne. I think it would be cool if she were like in some kind of cult, and she was like ritualistically murdered for trying to leave the cult. Anyways thats my opinion.
