While at the Tiki Con I had the oppertunity to meet the great Adam West.

I chatted with him for about 5 minutes, he also talked briefly with my son. Shook our hands and signed a pic to me. This whole weekend has really brought me to a new appreciation for the 60's series.
I was also able to talk briefly with Julie Newmar. Shes a riot. Heres a pic from the Q&A panel. Sorry for the bad pic.

They both had some pretty funny stories to tell.

OMGGG!!!
Jealous to the MAXX!! LMAO! Oh man that must've been something! Adam West was DA BOMB! And I really do appreciate the campiness of all the Batman series of yesteryear. Really - without those Batman would've not evolved into the loveable man we know today! lol!

I met him when the Olympic torch came thro Idaho for the winter games in SLC.( He has a home in Sun Valley, ID) he's a real neat guy, genuinly friendly, and quite funny. He was hamming it up with a local beauty pagent winner.

What a great weekend. I had a blast at The Screaming Tiki Convention. I am sorry we didn't get the chance to me Eric.
Meeting and chatting with Adam & Julie was awesome. Julie is very approachable and funny. And she is still gorgeous.

As I said, it was an experience. If any fan has the oppertunity to meet any of the bat actors I highly suggest it.

I guess he's only been doing voice acting recently. Besides his role in Family Guy, he also played a vender in Aloha Scooby-Doo. By the way, who is Julie Newmar? I can't tell if the name sounds vaguely familar or not.

Actually, Adam West started voice acting since The New Batman Adventures in the late 70's. He did 2 seasons of the Super Powers, an episode of B:TAS, was the voice of the mayor on The Batman, has done a couple episodes of Simpsons, Johnny Bravo, Kim Possible, Fairly Odd Parents, and of course Family Guy.
Julie Newmar, seriously? She was Catwoman in the 60's show.

My Adam West story: NY/NJ Syndicate Con in mid 1990's, the most poorly run convention I ever attended. The two big guests were Adam West and Ace Frehely - and there was only one line for both! When you got to the table, people either went left for Frehley, or right for West. After standing in line with the most mismatched group of people EVER, we get to Mr. West after almost 3hrs. My wife and I unfold my 1966 French "Batman The Movie" one sheet, and Mr. West wants to buy it from me! I NEVER sell anything out of my Batman collection, but BATMAN HIMSELF wants this! I get so flustered, I literally lose the ability to speak, so my wife does the talking. He signs the poster, and I have no memory of it happening! My wife said she thought I was having an "attack." In the photo, Mr. West's signature is obscured by the lampshade, but it says. "Zap! Adam West." Zap indeed.

Techno and I were standing over by the coffee area and Techno was looking around .. when I said, "don't look know, but there is Adam West." Techno turned around and was able to meet him as he walked past him .. exchanging some good will towards one another. I thought it was pretty cool. Good times!

I hope this is the right place for this post...I am going to my first Comic Con in 2 weeks (San Diego) and I saw Adam West enterprises listed there. Does anyone know if Adam is going to be there? That would be awesome if he is there. His website doesn't mention anything about it (and sadly seems really outdated).
