If you all are talking about Morrison, I agree.
HOWEVER, IF Bruce is going "away", hopefully Richard Grayson will become the Bat!

Someone bring me up to speed... whats the premise for "Last Days of Gotham"? Cant say Ive heard of it yet. I am looking forward to Kevin Smiths return to writing comics and have faith the story will be entertaining if not good, but Im leary about the art. Because R.I.P has left me so cold, im not exactly excited for its followup at this stage.

"Last Days of Gotham" is a 2 part arc that will take place in Detective Comics. its only big because Denny O'Neill is writing the story. Cacaphony could be good due to Smith. the only problems i see are only 1 issue coming out and the series never being finished, like some of Smith's other stuff. the second thing is that its set to feature Onamonapeia as the villain. i have no problem with that, but why have a series featuring Batman facing a Green Arrow villain when he can easily face one of his own villains that hasnt appeared in awhile?

I think you guys pretty much summed up my feelings about Cacophony and RIP. Not excited about RIP, period, but I'll continue to read it. And Cacophony - why not MORE MAD HATTER?! Lmao! As for Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader - deliberate reference to Alan Moore and Curt Swan's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?". Sounds HELLA COOL BEANS!

Correction: Last Days of Gotham is a 2-part crossover with Detective and Batman.
