Yes! Finally! I'm like totally in love with the idea of this cartoon & if they crank out a bunch of new Bat-Merch then that will be very cool. I really like the Plasticman, Green Arrow, & "Jet-Pack Batman" the best.

Which one? As far as I can see, there are plenty Batmen with classic costume. The one with the Batarangs looks good.

There's a few I want like Green Arrow, Atom, Aquaman (the basic one shown at the last CC) Here's hoping they are the same scale as the "The Batman" figures.

Anyone notice that these figures have up to 6 hexagonal ports on their shoulders, arms and legs? Reminds me of those old Centurions figures from the 80's. I'm really looking forward to the Gentleman Ghost figure in this line.

I'm really looking forward to this line. Hopefully the vehicles are actually made to be played with the figures. Not just giant hotwheels with the figure already molded on like what we have had with the movies and The Batman.
Really want a Clock King figure. DrGreenEvil

Im looking forward to this line, what im not looking forward to is mattel's piss poor distribution and walmarts obvious grudge against anything not hotwheels or barbie.
DC Classics had just as much potiental as Marvel Ledgends! Mattel needs to give the batman line up to someone who is willing to distribute!.
Am I the only one that feels this way? Hopefully this line will prove me wrong!

^ i think that Marvel Legends is far superior to DCUC. the DCUC figs have alot of problems too. marks on the figs, packaging errors, etc. also alot of the head sculpts are inaccurate. combine that with Mattel's production problems and you get a line thats going to fail. the first 3 series shelf warmed at Target, why would Wal-Mart want a line of figs that wont sell?

They didn't warm the pegs in my area...They flew off the shelves. Most restocks didn't stay on the pegs past the day. Until after the 3rd or 4th restock of each series then Red Tornado, Orion & the Superman Red started warming the pegs. Same with Series 4 they flew of the pegs for the first few restocks, but now Cyborg is starting to warm the pegs with Red Tornado, Etrigan & Superman Red. It seems my Wal*Mart got some odd filler cases as after the last restock of Series 4 they didn't get series 5, but rather cases of nothing but Series 1 Red Tornado, Etrigan & Penguin. They had 6 pegs full for the last month It's now down to 3 Pegs (all Red Tornado & 2 Etrigan figures)
And I have no problems with any of the head sculpts as there's no set design in the comics. Even though they are standard every artist has their own take/style on the characters.
But I will say the QC is seriously lacking now. With Series 1-3 I've bought at least 2 sets of everyone and only one figure was flawed...a series 3 Robin with a huge right hand. But with Series 4 I bought 2 full sets plus 2 extra Batman Beyond figures and there were a bunch of QC problems with them. Nothing breaking like many are reporting, but 2 BB have 2 upper right arms. A Captain Atom with 2 upper left arms (Come Christmas I'll saw one with one of the BB figures right arms) Both Ares had their arms on the wrong shoulders. His left arm was on his right shoulder and vise versa.(Simple fixes)
And the 2 Packs have been suffering as well. My Abin Sur had the wrong torso design. His torso was painted like the Series 3 Hal, but the rest was the classic costum. It's another simple fix with black paint, but I really feel we shouldn't have to fix a new figure. My Lightray/Orion set is perfect, but I've read reports of many being poorly painted of breaking apon removal from the package. And I've passed on 5 or 6 of the 2-Packs, because of poor paint jobs. And like I said above although I haven't had any break I have read reports of many breaking at the hips/legs. Which is the same Series 5 as well, but luckily my set of Series 5 are perfect. I do have an extra Amazo with a poor paint job on his chest though.
All these QC problems coming after they switched vendors for QC issues...So I personally think they went backwards as far as QC goes. That being said I still love the line and hope the QC Issues are corrected by the next series or this line will be in trouble.

^ i knew it was bad, but thats crazy. i'm in Durham, NC and series 1-3 shelf warmed. they had to take away figures to make room for the third series. Hal was the only figure that was sold. they didnt even bother to get waves 4 and 5. Wal-Mart had so many Penguins and Red Tornado figs that i think they gave up on the line completely as they have stopped selling them. i was n TRU last weekend and they had all of series 3 and 4. and they had an abundance of Cyborg and Aries. i was surprised about the Aries fig not selling though. thats actually a good looking fig, though the scaling is way off. Aries definitely should have been C&C.
thanks for posting about all the quality problems. i remember when they pulled all the figs because they didnt pass QC and now they seem to be even worse. and you're right, new figs should not have to be fixed by collectors. and what MOC collectors. they're screwed when they get an incorrect fig. and kids too. kids arent going to perform fixups on these figs. its a very poor reflection on the company.
and the paint marks is a common problem with Mattel in all of their lines. they seem to have the same problem with the JLU figs. Toybiz used to have some trouble with that as well. its either the paint they use or the factories making the figs have trouble. but something definitely needs to be done about it. Hasbro has no trouble with paint, Playmates has no trouble with paint, Mattel needs to fix the problem or they'll end up like Toybiz and be no more.

Matty Collector has some packaged pics in his news area. I'm really looking forward to this line and it looks like its starting, just starting, to trickle out. Maybe right after new year we will find these.
Alot I'm gonna get out of this line. GreenEvil

I really wish I had the funds and space for this line but like Shadowbat 69, I'll most likely get only the most classic Batman. Gentleman Ghost and Plas look great though!

Do we have any definite word on the exact scale of this line ?
Many are saying its the same as THE BATMAN. But theres a guy on ebay selling prototypes that says they measure 15cm which would clock them in at around 6 inches.
Do we have any definite answer, or do we have to wait till they come out ? DrGreenEvil

I really prefer DCUC figures to Marvel Legends for one main reason, the hip joints. Marvel Legends figures have that awful ball/hinge joint for each hip, while DCUC mostly have the newer T hip design with the extra hinge to give the figures a wider stance or roundhouse kick pose. Back to the topic at hand. I found the first wave of Deluxe Batman Brave and the Bold figures at my local Walmart today. They look a little stiff. Bug Zapper Blue Beetle alone looks wooden and awkward. The Batman figures look pretty cool, especially the rocket-pack Batman. Aquaman's figure is actually pretty decent too. The great thing about these figures is their accessories. Each accessory has multiple parts that are interchangeable and can be made into lots of fun weapons or armor for the figure to wear. The figures are only about as tall at Mattel's "The Batman" line, and the packaging is big and weird looking. The worst thing is Walmart is selling each basic figure for $10.88! These were the Deluxe figures in the wide octagon shaped packages. As far as I'm concerned, I'm waiting to see who's going to have the cheapest price, and then only pick up the figures I like.

Almost $11.00? At that price I'll only be getting the basic Batman figure.

I think someone at Mattel has some splainin' to do: Did you cut the stems of the accessory holes off the figure? They almost look hidden in that pic.

As much as I'd enjoy collecting all of these, I think the price of figures these days will keep me to getting strictly one of the Batman versions for now. I may watch for the others in trade or on clearance, though.

"Did you cut the stems of the accessory holes off the figure? They almost look hidden in that pic."
Yes, plus I angled it the best way to make them less noticeable. I started my modifications before I remembered this thread.
I picked this guy up at Walmart about 2 days ago I believe for $7.77

IamI- Thanks for the reply. It looks good like that.
My wife just called me to say she found 3 Batman Brave & the Bold figures for me. Although all 3 were versions of Batman...one was the Hang Climber figure (The Bats I wanted most from this line) and the other two I forgot the names of but they sounded like they might have his "Bat-Light saber" from the first episode. She said one had a bandoleer (?) belt with 3 batarangs over his shoulder and the other looked like a Samurai.

I just got back from a toy hunt, and unfortunately, no one had BATB figs stocked. However, Target did have their reset done with the tags in place. The retail was $7.99 for the basics and $16.99 for what was marked as "deluxe". Not sure why theres such a drastic difference in price, unless those are for the 2 packs.

My wife came home with the 3 figures they were...Hang Climber Batman, Star Blade Batman & Super Saber Batman. Then she had to go back out to our local pharmacy with some perscriptions for me and came back with Aquaman, Black Manta & Kanjar Ro. I have pics of the 3 Batman figures uploading and will post them when they are done, but I am still feeling the affects of the flu and might not be able to post loose pics of the other 3 until later or tomorrow. I posted them here - www.pointsofarticulation.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=38834&sid=060d05ac3e4260efe0a8da80a7845cf4#38834I'll take better pics of mant tomorrow.
