its getting to the ridiculous point. already been almost a year since the movie came out.. enough is enough! That may be, but they have only cracked the surface on the toys and characters to release. Plus demand is still high. Also, it takes a while to get the figure designs right. I say keep em coming.

Actually, I dont see much of a demand for these anymore. Toys R Us has a whole end dedicated to Movie Masters and they are just sitting there. Kmart also has about 5 pegs with MM's collecting dust. The 2 chase figs are also easier to find now and are not fetching what they were on ebay. All we keep seeing is "coming soon" pics, but no actual product shipping to the stores. Aside from first night out Bruce, Two Face/Dent and the rumored Gordon (which I dont believe we'll ever get), all Mattel is offering is Batman and Joker variants. Whoopee doo. Seriously. And after a year, there really isnt a mass market for these, not like when the movie was initially released. There isnt much more they can offer for TDK. The basic line was a flop, and as I predicted, is now showing up in the second hand stores such as Big Lots and Family Dollar. Also, stores will not continue to support a line a year after the event took place, especially with the fiasco that was the first release. And now they are stuck with those. Mattel needs much improvment with their distribution and production.

Mattell is taking to freaking long to release these. it has been forever since I first saw these "upcoming" figures. If they could keep these fresh and this wouldn't be an issue. My TRU also has that endcap, kind of disappointing to see.

I saw that Mattel will be re-releasing the BB Batmobile (the one for 5.75" action-figures) in the new "Batman" labeled packages.

::Topic moved::While this isn't really a Bat-Toy I thought this might be a good spot for it. If not, please move it accordingly. I saw this today in my local paper and thought I'd share it with you...while I wouldn't get this for myself...any thoughts? I went out yesterday looking for the DCUC8 and some of the Batman B&tB Action League 2-packs/vechicle sets without any luck. But I did find 2 of the MM maskless Batman at the TRU on Rt17 in Paramus. I guess in another year or so I'll find the "Fear Toxin" Batman from Series 2

batmanofbaylor, I like that artwork!
Wow, nice find! I check the two TRU all the time near me looking for the maskless. All I find is the big maskless figure. I don't like it that much.

I got destructocase Joker and Two Face at biglots tonight. $3 a piece. Wanted just a spare, "if something happens to it I dont care" Joker and I just couldn't resist the Two Face for some reason. I think it was the $3 price tag.

FYI: My nearby (No. California) Toys R Us had a bin of the Dark Knight Action figures for "buy 1 get 2 free" At least they did when I was there on Saturday

The brand new HT DX Police Joker with the move-able eyes is amazing. After receiving this, I promptly pre-ordered the DX Batman that comes out some time next year. I know the price is a little steep, but the figures are amazing.

A couple other questions: is it easy to switch from police Joker to regular Joker clothes, and how are the eyes (since they're supposed to move you know)?

I picked up the Joker fig and it was definately money well spent. The attention to detail was fantastic with the clothes and all the accessories. There is one problem though: I don't know how to get the eyes to move around. darambler, what do I need to do?
