I don't like the figures that come with the sports coupe. The playsets look nice though.

Todays pick ups:
Ratther disappointing overall. TRUs said they wouldnt have anything new until Thursday. KB Toys had an end full of the basics, afew Hot Wheels sets, remote Tumbler, and the role play stuff. Target and Wal Mart had nothing at all.

Just got back from Walmart and got the four figures: Batman, Bruce unmasked, Joker and thug. They had plenty of all but I got the only unmasked figure on the shelf.

I picked up the TRU 5" 4-Pack with the Staff Strike Batman, purple suit Joker with rereleases of the Begins Batman & Scarecrow today

Up until Yesterday they were listed on TRU's website. They said they were exclusive and had a May 15 release date. But today that and the 12" figure assortment are both gone. I think they (TRU) finally realized that there was more than one figure in the assortment and took the listings down to correct them. |

I actually picked up both the regular 12" and the unmaked Bruce Wayne tonight at my local TRU....they had JUST put the case out...there are six in a cse and only one Bruce Wayne in it.  |

Well I showed 'em... after calling three TRU's looking for this and speaking to imbeciles, I broke down and got a 12" Bruce on ebay for $105.00. I know that sounds crazy, but the nearest TRU to me is over an hour away, and I REALLY wanted this piece. thank God my wife understands.

Well I showed 'em... after calling three TRU's looking for this and speaking to imbeciles, I broke down and got a 12" Bruce on ebay for $105.00. I know that sounds crazy, but the nearest TRU to me is over an hour away, and I REALLY wanted this piece. thank God my wife understands. ya know, if you think about it, you probably would have spent at least $60 on gas driving around trying to find it, so I would say that you pretty much broke even on that deal ;D |

Walked into TRUs this afternoon and found this:
Couldnt believe it, there were 2 of them and 6 of the regular versions. Guess the kiddies dont want Batman without his mask. They also had the 4 pack, all the basics, the MM's minus the chase and Joker, all the current oddball stuff and an electronic sword???
I only bought this because I was real short on cash, but they had lots so Ill be back for the regular and the 4 pack.

I picked up the Dark Knight TRU exclusive Batman & Bruce Wayne 2-Ups today also. They are $30 each and have 9 POA (neck, cut shoulders, elbows, T-crotch & knees) I must say at $30 each and only 9 POA I still like these much more than the more articulated Action Cape Batman. Here's the 2-up Batman -   2-up Bruce Wayne - (Anniversary present)  Close-up of the Bruce head sculpt -  Mattel's various Dark Knight scales - 13" Action Cape Batman, 12" 2 UP Batman & Bruce, 4" Sports Coupe Batman, 6" Movie Masters Batman & the 5" Staff Strike Batman -  I gave the MM the cloth cape. |

I picked up some Chocolate Lucky Charms w/ the Scarecrow book inside. For those curious, Cheerios features the Batman book and Cookie Crisp has the Joker. I'll post scans of the Scarecrow book tomorrow.

I can't actually try it yet as the 12" Bruce is an anniversary present So I have another couple weeks before I can open it. |
