and to expand, Year One is not in continuity and Bruce Wayne is the adoptive father to Cassandra Cain and Hush takes place after both A Death In The Family and the Aztek series. To expand further, Year One does take place in continuity, only elements of the story have been changed due to Crises.

^ when a major part of the story never happened in regular continuity, that puts the whole story out of continuity. the creator of the story has stated on multiple occassions that it isnt a part of continuity, DC itself has labeled the story a part of Earth-31 continuity. a story cant happen on 2 seperate Earths as the characters on each Earth are different from their counterparts. its just not possible. while some things occured the same way on both Earths, the actual story arc, Year One, is not in continuity.

Don't you two have anything better to fight over? This is the same argument you guys have been having for awhile now. Is the answer REALLY all that important. Everything is going to be retconned sooner or later anyway.

Everything is going to be retconned sooner or later anyway. Good point. I mean, look how many origins Superman has. Man of Steel, Birthright, and now there's a new Secret Origin mini. Besides, jlavaia and I already agreed to disagree that the story was in continuity but elements were changed.

^ the Millerverse. its where all of Frank Miller's Batman stuff takes place. he says that they are all a part of the same continuity. Earth-31 includes characters and events from Batman: Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, The Dark Knight Strikes Again, All-Star Batman & Robin, & the unreleased Holy Terror, Batman!.

I just purchased The Death of Superman, World Without a Superman, and The Return of Superman. Do these take place between A Death in the Family and Aztek: The Ultimate Man?

Maybe Im being naive but can't you just read and enjoy the graphic novels etc....... without worrying whether they are part of the continuity?

So I finished reading The Death of Superman, World Without a Superman, and The Return of Superman. I understand that soon after Superman comes back to life, he splits into two energy beings calles Superman Red and Superman Blue. What is the name of the collected edition of that story. I would like to read it.

And what happened with Hal Jordan and Parallax between The Return of Superman and Zero Hour: Crisis in Time? Where is that collected?

By the way are Batman and the Monster Men and Batman and the Mad Monk part of mainstream continuity? yes those stories are a part ofregular continuity. as for your other 2 questions, i'm not sure that those stories have been collected. not everything gets collected. Superman Red/Superman Blue was a true low point for DC and specifically Superman and i'm sure they try to forget that it actually happened. Hal Jordan's full turn into Parallax was collected i believe, but i'm not sure of the title of the collection only the issue numbers from the main GL series.
