I recently bought another Scarecrow figure from the DC Super Heroes Batman line. I had three, but I wanted another one to open and display. When I opened it, I tried to turn the right foot to help it stand, but the right foot broke off. OK, I returned it (which was at a store more than an hour from my home) and got another. The same thing happened, the right foot broke off when I tried to turn it. I bought another one, which didn't break. The Batman figure looks straight down, which is weird. The Bane figure's leg joints are really loose, so he can't stand on his own.
Then I bought Superman, Doomsday and Supergirl figures from the Superman line. All have really loose leg joints, which cause them to fall. Supergirl is the worst, she can't even stand up. Doomsday will stand up, but he slowly lowers into a cheerleader split. Superman's cape helps him stand.
The new Batman line is also a let down. Robin is the same mold at the original Batman line Robin, but the face paint is really thick and rubbery on mine. You can't see the mask outline on his face because the paint was put on too thick. When I tried to turn his head, the paint was stuck to the neck joint. I had to use a craft knife to cut away the paint so the neck would turn, but the head still looks bad with the over painting. Azrael is a great figure, but like the Batman figures, he is stuck looking at the ground instead of straight ahead. You have to bend him way back Matrix style so he can look ahead. His upper body is also heavy, which causes his upper body to turn on his own. His leg joints are also loose.
Any one else having problems with the figures? I own a Punisher and Bullseye from the Marvel Legends line, and they give me no problems at all. The quality is great for the price. DCSH is poor quality for a higher price.
