Batman Forever Superman III RoboCop 3 The Matrix: Revolutions Star Trek III: The Search for Spock X-Men: The Last Stand Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome The Crow: Salvation Spider-Man 3 Goldfinger Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Lethal Weapon 3 Shrek The Third Back to the Future Part III Star Wars: Return of the Jedi The Godfather Part III Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Die Hard with a Vengeance The Bourne Ultimatum Ocean's Thirteen I pick Goldfinger because I'm a huge James Bond fan. I have to say, from the choices, my fav is Die Hard 3. Spider-Man wasn't bad, just too much going on, as for X3, I thought it was an abomination!!!

without a doubt Back to the Future 3. even though the Back to the Future Trilogy is technically one giant movie, since you listed it it gets picked. there are no movies ever that are better than the Back to the Future movies.
and you left off a film from the one the best trilogies of all time, The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly is the third movie of a fantastic trilogy. that would be number 2 on my list of favorite threequels as thats one of the best movies ever made. i may be alittle biased though as i'm a big western buff, but it still should be listed.

^ "there are no movies ever that are better than the Back to the Future movies." thats a little strong, i would say the good, bad, ugly was way better than back to the future. Clint over Michael J. Fox any day. Not to mention direction and sound tracks.

Well, with the exception of Star Wars, I never cared for the majority of the movies listed. Several that you listed are also no longer "Threequels" as there's another sequel.(i.e. Indiana Jones, Shrek, The Bourne series, Lethal Weapon.)

[shadow=red,left,300]Out of those threequels listed I would say that Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, Back to the Future part 3 and Goldenfinger would be my favorites.
Spider-man 3 and Shreak the Third would be the worst![/shadow]

^ don't care ether.
My favorite would be Back to the Future part 3 and Terminator rise of the Machines.
The worst would have to be ether Shreak the Third , Spider-man 3, or Batman Forever. Didn't like Matrix: Revelations ether.

I don't give a crap about part four. while thats fascinating, there is no need to get rude, especially when batman1973 is correct. technically a threequel is the third part of a trilogy. technically alot of the movies listed cant be considered threequels. even Back to the Future, as all 3 movies are 1 giant movie, and Matrix Revolutions, as Reloaded and Revolutions are 1 large movie that was only broken up to maximize profit. so please, there is no reason to get nasty when you get proven wrong. in the future please remember that. thank you.
