I suppose I'm not the only one who's going to celebrate the Dark Knight's Anniversary, so how are you going to make it?
I'm planning to celebrate on 27th May - I'm going to decorate the living room with a Batman "Happy Birthday" banner and use Batman party supplies. I'll put around some Batman merchandise and on my desk I'm going to leave all my Batman comics if anyone wants to have a read, and next to them - my Batman scrapbook. I'm also going to watch some of the movies, but I haven't chosen which ones yet and I'm going to watch that DVD documentary on the history of Batman.
As for a cake - I usually make my own designs, but for this occasion, the picture on the cake will be 1939's Detective Comics 27.
Any recommendations for decoration, movies, food are welcome!

I'll celebrate in some way, but not sure how. But I have some ideas for you:
I would recommed Batman 89, Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight for movies. If you have some graphic novels like Year One, DKR, or Long Halloween, I would leave those out too. And maybe some bat-shaped cookies.

Bat-shaped cookies are a nice idea. I actually made a Bat-symbol dough cutter some years ago with my dad, so I'll make that. For graphic novels - I don't have that many, so I'll probably read all of them again. I have Returns-Begins adaptations, Year One, Year Two (Includes "Full Circle"), Arkham Asylum (Anniversary Edition), Judgement on Gotham (Judge Dredd crossover) and Son of the Demon.
For movies - I was thinking the 89 movie, maybe with commentary, but I'll probably see MOTP as well. These two, along with Returns have a special place in my heart, as they're what I grew up with.
I don't know other huge Batman fans from around, so I'll probably be alone or with my older brother if he doesn't go to work and we'll sure have some fun. Also May 27 is a school day, so I'll need to have a talk with my parents.

We'll be celebrating in June with a special event at graham crackers comics in Illinois. Stay tuned for details.
