I just saw G.I.Joe: The Rise of Kobra and it was really good. I don't know too much about G.I. Joe but I was able to figure out who Duke, Hawk, Scarlet, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Baroness are. But I never understood which Joes the black guy with the Brittish accent and the brown guy with the French accent were. Does anybody know? Heavy Duty and Breaker respectively.

[shadow=red,left,300]I am sorry to say it, but G.I.Joe The Rise of Cobra was terrible, but it was slightly better then Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.[/shadow]

We went to see Joe Saturday night. It was stupid, but cartoon stupid. You cant take this kind of movie seriously. It was almost like watching the cartoon come to life. There were some easter eggs in there for old school fans, and they handled Destro perfectly. The new origin of C.C. was interesting, it beats being a used car salesman or a snakeman from a lost civilization.
I still dont see how so many think Transformers was so bad. Just about everything they had in that movie was from one of the comic series'.

I am a huge Transformers and G.I.Joe fan, so in a stupid way I liked G.I.Joe.
But Shadowbat69, please tell me you are referring to G.I joe being close to the comic and not Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Because Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was no where near the comics!
It mostly stole Ideas from other action movies and ignored the source material. And this is coming from someone who liked the movie! I am just being realistic.

Alot of the basic ideas in that movie came from both the comics (Marvel, UK, IDW) and the different cartoons.

Not really. He did use some ideas from source material. I was wrong to say Bay ignored it completely.
But let's face it, he mostly stole ideas from other action movies like Terminator, Van Helsing and Star wars and several more. Some senses are so similar, it's scary!
You make it sound like he remained very truthful when he really didn't at all! Personally, they should find another director!
