I'll be getting this on Friday, but is the Batcycle in it like on the cover?

Yes it is; wait until you see what Batman does to it (I don't know if it's awesome or sad) If I made you more impatient to check it out, that was my intention lol

Issue five is like the fastest issue I've read of any series. It's kind of sad that both the Batwing AND Batcycle both get blown up. Didn't he just build the things?
Felt it was a fast issue, but hopefully the finale will be awesome.

I didn't know the Joker story would be a 6 part story; if it's a good story line, that's great news!

Wow, all of these look good! You guys are making me jealous! I can't get any of these! If only I had a credit card, then I could subscribe! Anyway a 6-part Joker story? That's what I'm talking about! I like it!

The first story arc wrapped up this past Wednesday. Overall, I'd say it was an alright ending although I wouldn't say it was the best. However, the team did a good job on starting off the new series. Next: Joker!

I was planning on going to get it yesterday, but things got in the way. But hopefully I can get this, and All Star #5, next week.

So does DC intentionally put bad art on this book?

Well, I finally got #6 today, but I'm kind of confused.
BATMAN: "You sent my machines to kill me."
Did he just tell Luthor he was Bruce Wayne?
The overall arc had a good story but bad art (which is how I feel the next story will turn out based on the latest covers).
NEXT: Just who was the Joker before he was the Joker and how did Batman play a role in his creation?

If he said that, I missed it; I'll have to go back and check that out again. It sounds like Bruce hasn't been the Batman too long here but that would be a short career if he did say that.

Complete lackluster for me. I saw it in the shop and almost forgot that I was reading it. Wilce Portacio's art has changed in time, and this run of it, just wasn't up to par with what hes done before. I am not even sure if I want to keep reading this title, I may give it a full year before I make my decision.

I'm forgetting though, who's on the new story?

Tommorow, the second story arc of Batman Confidential begins, as we take a look at the new origin of Batman's deadliest foe: The Joker. And Newsarama has given us a 10 page preview of #7, and so you know, the cover art we've seen looks NOTHING like the inside. Enjoy. ;D forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=120199

I've read 7 and 8 and thought the story is excellent! I'm not the biggest fan of the artwork but it does give the story an interesting feel. I can't wait for issue 9 although the cover is a real turn off. I can't wait to see the birth of Joker in #10

Anyone else checked out issue 9 yet? I won't go into details about it yet but I have some things to add about the series. I'm really enjoying this story arc about the Joker and how he came to be; he's a very interesting individual and if they included any parts of this story with the film, I'm going to be really looking forward to the movie. The only thing I don't like is the art work. The cover wasn't all that good, but it does make sense story wise. I really am kept going on the story currently because of the story and not really the art. However, I'm sure the art has something to do with the insanity of the Joker but I'm either thinking to much on it or over looking it entirely. In the end, I'll be looking forward to the rest of the issues in this story arc and hoping for just as good of story for the next (I do think I have an idea after reading 9 but I'll save that until later). What are you doing reading this? Make time to check out the new issue instead
