^ i'm not. Dick has always been close to the edge and he plays with the good/evil line alittle too much. its why he was able to infiltrate the Society during Infinite Crisis. he's also starting to snap. you can see. he isnt laughing and smiling anymore as he was when he first became Batman. he's after too many guys right now and he's got alot of pressure and i'm sure he isnt sleeping much. this is basically his Knightfall, with villian after villain after villain, until he either gets broken or he snaps. i fully expect a fight between Bruce & Dick next fall. DC has been recycling their old stories lately with the "clever" twist of combining elements of 3 old stories into one clusterbomb. first we had Prodigal, now its Knightfall, next will come KnightsEnd. its sad really that they cant come up with better overall story ideas. the issues themselves arent bad at all, but its just the overall story that is. its too predictable. and its not just Batman that is suffering from this right now. its almost all of DC. and they are trying as hard as they can to not take anything from Marvel too. so since there are 2 Captain Americas, that means we cant have 2 Batmans.
the funny part of Dick blowing that house is that it reminds me so much of Moon Knight. and thinking about it, Dick as Batman is more like Moon Knight (without the multiple personalities) than Batman. i'm seeing it more and more with each issue.

I haven't been reading the main Batman title. I will believe that Dick is getting more extreme only when Morrison tells it to me. Tony Daniel, not so much. I wouldn't be surprised if when Judd gets the story back, it will be how it was before Daniel.

My biggest problem with all of this is the crap Dick was giving to Tim about raising the dead back in the Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul. How is this any different than Tim wanting to bring back the ones he loved?

My biggest problem with all of this is the crap Dick was giving to Tim about raising the dead back in the Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul. How is this any different than Tim wanting to bring back the ones he loved? I think Dick is going throught what Tim did. Tim had lost his father, his girlfriend, and his best friend in a shor amount of time and felt desperate. Dick lost his father figure and trying to fill his shoes, but it was Jason's words about doing whatever it took to bring Bruce back that prompted him to do this. Still, it does seem hypocritical.
