Oh yeah, that's probably a good guess.
You know, I've got mixed feelings about this. Of course I'll watch it, but I'd so much rather have a live action adaptation. Can you imagine how cool it'd be to have Michael Keaton play the aged Bruce Wayne/Batman?
I still hope they do it at some point.

If Hollywood could ever let go of the need for sequels...they could develope alot of decent superhero storylines which focus on plot. This being one of them. Nolan is on target for closing out his vision. the average movie go'r needs to realize not all Batman roles need to go to Bale or Joker/Ledger...plenty of story lines out there

Yet i totally agree

Yet i totally agree Thats the major hurdle with Hollywood, they would have to have a good marketing/PR to get the general zombie nation that have never picked up a book, let alone a comic to understand that these are stories by artist and what one does in a movie does not /should not hinder the creative vision of another. No reason we can not have a modern established Batman vs. Joker w/Harley by his side. For the unimagative we could have the voice of Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones give a narrative of the situation during the opening credits...I would say we could have a scrolling set up ala starwars...but than that whole reading thing kicks in again...words words words

First off, hey Matt, could you move the DCU movie threads here to the DCU movie section? Anyway, we got more info about DKR: au.bluray.ign.com/articles/118/1183821p1.htmlIt will be two parts (!) and be a very very faithful adaptation, and Conroy and Hammil are favorable choices for Batman and Joker. As you can tell, they aren't screwing around with this one.

Cool. Was only a matter of time though. Kindve unexpected so close to Year one though. Shocked the powers that be green lit a two-parter in this format. Its really sad they dont seem keen on Kingdom Come... I thought Timm and Co. had previously spoken much more optimystically about it? Oh well.
