There is one thing in Batman Begins 2 that I would love to see done. Batman Begins did it really well, with the way we were shown how Bruce Wayne was trained in fighting. But in Batman Begins 2 it would be really great to see how he becomes the great detective we have all known him to become. Sure in Begins they mentioned that he went to Princeton and all, but I want to see him being shown the way, or guided on becoming The Dark Knight Detective. There is a bit more origin story there and I don't think any other Batman movie has touched on this subject, I think it is vital and very important to see this, because other wise are we just supposed to believe he knows all of this because he is gifted? They need to explore this in the sequels...

It's going to have to fit in thematically into the film. What made Bruce's training work in Begins was that it was extremely relevant to the overall story, with Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Shadows, as well as addressed the themes of fear and determination. Tom Mankiewicz's The Batman script in 1982 had Bruce training, but it was all disconnected. It didn't work out as well as Goyer's version. We saw Bruce do all sorts of stuff besides fighting, but it felt like it happened just for the sake of telling the origin rather than telling a story.

great points, but somehow, someway I think Nolan and Goyer could come up with something that brings Bruce's detective training into it, even if it takes up about 10-12 minutes of flashbacks like in Batman Begins did with the training. Because us true Batfans know all about Batman and what a great detective he is, but there are those out there that have no clue about Batman, and might be thinking B.S. he knows about science, chemistry, etc.. and how did he become such a sleuth?
In Begins Bruce was gone for 7 yrs, and Nolan & Co. could says 4 of those yrs was with Ra Ahul Ghul, and the other 3 yrs were off studying with a great detective. Or they could make a former college buddy of Bruce's a minor villian in the sequel that he has to go after, and while he is going over the case files, they could flashback to Bruce and his buddy in science/chemistry class or something like that.

Yeah, they could definitely pull it off like that, but I was just saying that it needs to tie in like it did with Begins.
As for the former college buddy, Roman Sionis a.k.a. Black Mask has been rumored by BOF to be a minor villain. Perhaps he could fill in that role ;D.

I definately think that if they made Roman Sionis into that buddy/teacher storyline, like they did with Ducard/Ras Ah Ghul in Begins that it would work the best, and I totally agree with what you are saying that it has to fit in with the story, and work.

i like the idea of the detective aspect. i don't really remember any batman film showing him as a detective, the only thing that comes to mind is when penguin called the people of gotham names and bruce played the recording at the press conference. i would really like to see the batman do some detective work in the next film. also the introduction of balck mask as the teacher sounds pretty cool.

The detective aspect is a wonderful suggestion. Let's hope what was touched upon in the first movie will be reprised in the sequel/continuation.
On a smaller note, I want to see Bruce Wayne deposit two roses on the spot his parents were murdered on the anniversary of their death. I think it should be a quiet poignant scene somewhere in the middle of the movie.

[glow=red,2,300]Yeah ,they should do a tip out of the Long Halloween/Dark Victory Batman , Sale and Loab got the detective aspect so well which is one of the reasons I got into Batman comics all those year;s ago I like superheroes I like detectives presto Bat-fan! Also would give the opportunity to have a utility Belt a bit more like the comic pouch a bulkier one which doest bend down at the front! To hold much more weapons and detective tool's!and crime scene shot with bat's and Gordan ,would be cool with Gordan letting Bat's take a look at the murder scene or something! [/glow] I like the idea of a comic book style utility belt, the one in Begins was pretty bad. I really like the way Batman's utility belt looked in Batman Dead End, plus it was black

^ It would look cool mostly black with some yellow outlines. I think you are right it would need some yellow in it for contrast, and for visual
