I'm going conservative on this one, and will say 200-249 million. I hope that it does much more than that, but the thing that concerns me is that aside from the TV ads, trailers and toys, there has been virtually no other type of media blitz. Maybe WBs waiting for ROTS to come out beofre they start...but it seems like that will be such a small window between then and the premiere in June.

[shadow=purple,left,300]$215 million. If not that, between $190 million and $210 million.[/shadow]

I just hope they break even and make enough to give the next movie a good reason to go forward. They'll be getting quite a bit of my dough through the run.

Ughhh.....Come on, Y'all.... This is an easy question. Ofcourse Batman Begins will make over 200 mill at the US Box Office. I mean, even Batman & Robin made over 200 mill.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Nope. It only made about $107 million in the U.S., about $50 million less than it's lowest-grossing predecessor.
Worldwide, though, it did gross over $200 million.[/shadow]

word of mouth will carry this film over 200 mil, ROTS was good, but it's got that been there done that feel. If Nolan can create something fresh, word of mouth will boost this films sales.

I was watching this thing on the news about the money decline in the box office despite Star Wars. They said the theatres are in trouble unless a movie over the summer brings people back to the movies. They put it between Madagascar or whatever its called and Batman Begins. But they were hinting to Begins when they said, "The box office needs a comic book hero to save the box office." That made me happy. ;D

[shadow=purple,left,300]The Weekend Warrior at Comingsoon.net, who comes very close to pinpointing the amount a movie will make at the box office, has "Batman Begins" making about $100 million by the end of its first five days, and upwards of $210 million by the end of its run in theaters. You can read his predictions HERE.[/shadow]

Actuall it's getting advertised by verizon wireless and Dell and others to.
