DId you know that there is already cast a young Batgirl? Ilyssa Fradi
I read it on Wikipedia and it says Batman Begins Barbara Gordon although she had no screen time they still cast her. Do you think this means we will see her in Batman begins 2?

No.
Though Barbara Gordon was listed in the credits at the end of Begins, it was possibly either Jim's wife (who was also named Barbara) or the baby(though this is more possibly their son Jim Jr.). And a little known fact is that Barbara was adopted. And the reason we never see Jim's wife and son is that she left him beacause he was always working on police work.
Besides, Nolan never stated plans for Batgirl, and has stated that he has no plans for Robin either in future films.

Oh thanks for clearing that up for me but explain... In the 2005 movie, Batman Begins, Ilyssa Fradin played a preteen Barbara, although she has no screentime. From Wikipedia
And Batman Begins (2005) .... Barbara Gordon ... aka Batman Begins: The IMAX Experience (USA: IMAX version) From IMDB

I expect RObin will be in the Movies First but I guess you never know. The Batman Series (Which is why most of us are here!) Put Babsy first but she will only be a guest appearance hero unlike Robin will.

I also read somewhere that she played Jim's wife, not his daughter. This I got from her Chicago-based casting profile last year, which I can't find now.
By the way, welcome to the boards![/shadow]

No. Batman Begins will not include Batgirl. Nolans seen B&R, he knows what to do. Besides, yes as All Star said, it was either his wife or a daughter in the short scene of the house.

Batgirl could make it into a sequel. I don't know exactly how, but she could. As far as me wanting her in, I don't really think so. She has never been a fundamental for me.

i hope to god they don't include her or robin in any of Nolan's films. Nolan doesn't want robin in his movies anyway, lets hope he feels the same way for her.

[glow=red,2,300] I really agree I love Batman and the last thing I want is Batgirl messing the film up !Although a cameo would be alright under the writer's arm's! Hasnt Goyer confirmed that he is not writing the sequel? [/glow]

I myself do not want to see Batgirl in another live action movie again unless it's Barbara Gordon. Joel Schumacher really messed things up with her character. I didn't like Barbara Wilson: Alfred's niece, nor the fact that she only wore the Bat cowl on her Batcycle, that cowl is her mask not the lame eyemask she wore. How pathetic. I have more regard for Robin than I do Batgirl when it comes to movies. Franky, if there could ever be another live action Batman TV show and if it were popular enough top run for a few years, Batgirl and and all three Robins, (Dick, Jason, and Tim) would be welcome additions.
If Robin or Batgirl ever resurface in future Batman movies, I don't think Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale would be involved. It would need to be a director who is a major Batman comic fan and loves all the characters.
Cheers.

Actually Nolan & Uslan could make it work. Bale will probably be involved with all the films in the new series, & a new Batman tv doesn't seem likely. Furthermore it would have to have like 20 seasons for all 3 Robins to appear.
& yes Goyer has comfirmed he is not writing the sequal, although he did write the treatment, which Chris's brother's script is based on.
