My apologies if this is already in another thread... With the Joker being the main villain in Batman 2 do you think there is a chance we'll see Harley Quinn? Even if they didn't feature her it would be nice to have her incorporated into the story in some way, much like Victor Zsasz in Batman Begins. Also who do you think would be the best actress for the role? My pick would be Rachel McAdams. I think she would fit the part perfectly!!!

I doubt she will come up but if she did, respecting opinions, I dont think McAdams would cut out.

I don't think Rachel McAdams would be good for the roll, i think it would be a hard role to portray. No actress that i know of would cut it in my book, but then again you never know.

I've always been in favor if Fairuz Balk for Harley. She's very sexual...got the smile and a very dark look to go with the character Oh yeah she was in that which movie was it called, The Craft? i think she would do a great harley, very dark and crazy harley.

What about Resse Witherspoon? She had that twisted personality in 'Election'.
And then there's Jenny McCarthy..

That pic of Rachel McAdams, she looks a lot more like an Ivy than a Harley. I think Matt really got it right with Fairuz Balk.

Looking at Lightyear's pic, I really like the idea of Rachel McAdams as Harley. I just don't see Faruza Balk. I also like Brittany Murphy(Don't say a word)

I don't think Jenny Mcarthy would be good for the role and needless to say her repuatation probably wouldn't help the series. Reese Witherspoon is the highest paid actress right now so i don't think she would do this. I think /\/\att hit it on the nose with Fairuz Balk. What about the girl in Superman Returns, Lex Luthors Girl Freind?

I don't think Anne Hatheway is a strong ehough actress to pull it off, Harley needs a actress with a good comedic abilities that can also be dark, i dont think anne fits the qualifications.

Fairuza Balk would have been a perfect choice back in the day, but I have to wonder if she's not just on the fringe of being just a tiny bit old for what would be a franchise role now, at least judging by how she looked in the last couple of things I saw her in anyways. If she could get into the right shape (and maintain it) she could certainly pull off the character and look though. Reese Witherspoon I hate, I personally think she's one of the most annoying and over-rated actresses working today, and in most of her films she annoys the absolute crap out of me these days. She was actually good in Freeway, Twilight and Pleasantville back in the day, but it's just seemed to me that since she became a "star" she stopped putting the effort in and became complacent, phoning in most of her roles. I haven't seen Walk The Line yet though, so that may have been a better turn than her last several outings. Plus I think she's the type that would just caricature it up too much, ala Batman & Robin, and it'd just turn out to be a variation on her Legally Blonde schtick. She does have a suitable 'look' though, I'll give you that much. Jenny McCarthy? Yeah, no. Thanks anyway. Back in the day I also quite liked the idea of Lori Petty in the role, she's got the right kinda stature and out there quirky/sassy nature to her (just as Fairuza Balk above), but again, just like Fairuza, I think that ship has sailed, probably even more so in Lori's case. Me, as of this moment with the current roster of hollyweird talent, I think I'd have to go with Brittany Murphy as well. I think she could pull off the role really well, both sides of it, and she's quite impressed me in a number of films, plus it's also the type of film that I think she'd be into doing to boot (and not see it as a step down from "real" films, as a lot of actors unfortunately look at "comic book films") which is always a big plus in any film such as this. If Harley is in the film though then I think it should be at the end, after The Joker has been caught and incarcerated in Arkham by the Bat, she could be there interviewing/evaluating him, leaving her own obsession and transformation just out there looming on the horizon, the same way that the Joker card forshadowed the coming of The Joker in the first film. It's what I'd do anyways... Sev.
