I actually hope that this is a trilogy(and Nolan and company have stated that in all likeliness, it will be) simply because I think three films is the ideal number for any film series that has a definite end. When complete, I'd like this series of films to flow perfectly when all the films are watched together, as one story, basically. I think it'll be a tighter continuity with 3 films as opposed to more. After some thought, I think it would be logical to have Batman in the title, because without it, it wouldn't really feel like it went with Batman Begins. There'd be no sense of continuity in the titles. I personally think it'd be cool simply as Batman: Dark Knight, without the in there. I just think it sounds way better, both alone and with Batman Begins. I'll still like the title whichever way they do it, though.

i, as well, am somewhat torn Batman: The Dark Knight, would be what you'd expect (when i first heard it was called the dark knight, i just assumed it'd have batman in front) but then again, calling it just The Dark Knight will give it a darker, more mysterious look to it, may appeal more people who know who batman is but isnt a big fan to go see it, seeing as how it is (more than likely) going to be a darker image of batman (the kind we are all used to for the past 30 years) a murderous joker, etc i wish it would be rated R, but i understand the necessity for pg 13 also yes, some people do believe that begins is a sequal to the '89 batman a co worker said that to me, he was like but at the end you see the joker card. and i'm like...DUMBASS how can it be a prequal....how did we see the joker card if the joker doesnt even get made till AFTER the beginning of the 1st one, leaving his calling card and such (i do realize as i type this that jack napier did keep his lucky deck, but no where was it mentioned that he left one at the scene of his murder crimes, nor do i think he ever went around murdering people and leaving clues, more following orders) ALTHOUGH he was crazy and such (the other corrupt people were saying he was crazy and such BEFORE he was joker) my co worker had obvioulsy not seem batman as recently as me, and is not as much of a batman fan for i know all the movies well just saying that as a possibility for a prequal is an interesting thought, but it is clearly stated that it is not one and yes i have encountered people who think it is and i set them the **** straight! keep spreading the word, i am STILL finding people who never saw batman begins !!!!!

As long at the Joker has his green hair, white face and red lips (along with that CRAZY smile) I'll be ok with Batman 2.

Of course, I'm assuming he can, since he's landed the roll, but you know what happens when you assume.... ;D (happens to me all the time, that's how I know what happens!)

[shadow=green,left,300] I couldn't agree with you guys more You know I just got through watching Batman Begins today and I liked it a bit more than I did, I think Nolan knows what he is doing I guess I like it more that I got to see the beginning I missed it the first few times I tried watching it. I just saw a role with Heath Ledger in it and I have to say I think he can pull off Joker. Tell you the truth I just want him to have an good Joker laugh, that's what I expect from any Joker. I think its gonna be hard for Ledger to hit a laught like Mark Hamill's. His voice is deep.
