is this true? i'm not sure how i feel about this. i can understand utilizing a drain tunnel for stealthful reasons, or maybe storage, but will he really be living there? what's happened to the manor? matt, or anyone can you confirm this? and i'd like to hear others opinions about this.

i do know that he will be in an apartment not the manor and from the batcave toy the cave is under neath it however i think it is more of a sewage system o something along those lines and is not a cave. He is only starting off so there is plenty of time for the cave and the manor.

He doesn't live in a sewer. I don't know where the marketing people got that idea.

[shadow=green,left,300]To help clarify this. Bruce will live in a penthouse.
remember in the 60s show how the batmobile would roar out of a cave seemingly in the middle of nowhere? This was so that no one would connect wayne manor with batman. The same is true of this sewer system situation.[/shadow]

Bruce lives in Wayne Mansion, rather than Wayne Manor, which is shown as being more centrally located withing Gotham rather than in a remote area outside of the city as in many previous versions. The Batcave is there in all it's glory (wait until you see it, it's my favorite Batcave design ever), and there are multiple hidden passages through which the Batmobile can emerge onto the streets of Gotham.

Yeah, the new Batcave is pretty cool. Hey Chris, did your colorist get the BG reference yet?

Ok I can live with that...at least he's connected to the Wayne home in some way. The Batcave sounds awesome, I can't wait for the toon!

It's an interesting return back to the semi-old days (70s I think) when in comic books, he lived in Gotham. I've only read it in the graphic novel, Batman: Strange Apparitions. I think it's cool because DC says, "These stories and character interpretations are the foundation upon which Batman's current mythos was built." Ergo it is really neat to have a series built around Batman's beginning drawing (haha gotta love those puns ) from Batman lore.

Bruce lived in a penthouse in the comics for a short period in the late 70's/early 80's. About the same time Clark Kent was a TV Anchorman. Then DC decided to restore the more classic dwellings of each character instead of the "updates."
