Just read at Comic Book Resources' Lying in the Gutters column (a comics industry rumor/gossip column) that a Batman vs Dracula "property" is currently in production at WB Animation. Could we be getting a straight-to-DVD movie already? The column mentions it uses the designs from "The Batman"... www.comicbookresources.com/columns/?column=13Jeff

That sounds very cool. I love the designs for the cartoon, I can only image the cool stuff they could do with Dracula. And I always like Batman and vampires, they're a good match. Man, how cool would it be if they could work Nocturna in there somehow

That sounds pretty cool, I'll have to read and see more as the months go on and we get closer to the release if this is true.

I'm not sure what to think about this, I would prefer that they keep this Batman free of any supernatural elements for the time being. I've never been crazy about Batman fighting monsters or demons or stuff like that, it works fine when he's with the Justice League but I would rather this batman stay more grounded in reality. If WB decided to do this as something completely seperate from the animated series then I might be more open to it.

That sounds like it might be cool. I've wanted a animated story like this ever since I read Bloodstorm and Red Rain.
