[shadow=blue,left,300]I didn't know if a thread was already started or not on this. Websites have started to post about The Batman DVD coming out early to mid 2005. I know we've talked about this before but I was wondering if this might be a season set or just compilation disc? [/shadow]

[shadow=green,left,300]Yes, we've discussed this one in the past....from what I've heard out of WB its going to be a few eps, not the entire season...now thats open to change, of course....once something is set in stone, I'll be sure to let you guys know!
.....you can still expect Batman v Dracula next Xmas season, though.....ho ho horrors![/shadow]

I believe it was toon zone that made the info public last year, so I was finally able to talk about it. I think it sounds like fun...I really do, and they're putting a lot of effort into it.[/shadow]

[shadow=purple,left,300]I can't wait for "The Batman vs. Dracula." It sounds like the series is starting to take great direction (though it really has all along), and this movie sounds like fun. As for the individual episodes... a box set would be nice as soon as possible, but I find that a bit unlikely to occur this year.[/shadow]

[shadow=green,left,300]According to an Ed, Edd n' Eddy dvd press release over at Dvd Toons the dvd title is The Batman: Season 1, Volume 1 - Training for Power! I've modified the thread title accordingly.[/shadow]

"Training for Power."
Definitely tapping into that Begins zeitgeist. (Which I feel is part of WB's master plan with "The Batman" anyway, from a marketing perspective.)

) [shadow=green,left,300] .....you can still expect Batman v Dracula next Xmas season, though.....ho ho horrors![/shadow] The Batman vs. Dracula? That's sounds kinda stupid. I mean, Dracula isn't even one of Batman's villians. Hmmm....But I guess it won't hurt to watch it. (if this is true, then i'll buy the Batman vs. Dracula DVD too. )

The Batman vs. Dracula? That sounds kinda stupid. I'm a little apprehensive too. It's not an unnatural pairing but I'd rather see a feature-length DVD that deals more with Batman's mythos. That said, I like this show and I'm betting it will be entertaining.

I am actually quite excited about The Batman vs. Dracula DVD. With being a DTV, I have a feeling that a few more liberties will be taken with this then we are accustomed to seeing on TV. And if done right, Dracula is always a bad-@$$ed adversary. Being as Dracula has never had a place in the Batman mythos for the most part, this will be fun to see how Matsuda handles it. I for one have complete faith in him and his creative team.

hmm well they did the Batman vs Dracula in comics (kelly Jones art ) and there have been numerous vampire appearances over the years I beleive one of the early Batman villians called the monk may have been a vampire so definitley some history there i really like that .should be fun although I'm surprised they didn't go for a release date closer to Halloween

although I'm surprised they didn't go for a release date closer to Halloween [shadow=green,left,300]That would make logical sense..but sometimes development and production don't work out just right and you have to delay a bit. Easy Xmas gift idea lol [/shadow]

[glow=red,2,300]No offense to anyone but Training for Power has to be the worst title ever, why couldnt they just call it "The Bat in the Belfry"[/glow]

The title does sound kinda cheesy, but it makes sense. At this time, Batman is still young and still building up his reputation and strength, so it would makes sense to call his progress "Training".
