This sounds like a question for Matt. I don't know as much as you. Matt, a little help?

Someone comfirmed that he creates mini earthquakes with his fists. I think it was Thomas Perkins or Jeff Matsuda that comifirmed it I think it was at a chat.

Thats correct. He's a mercenary that uses those gloves to make mini-earthquakes or tremors with his fists.
Not too much more is known. A pic of the toy can be found in our Action Figure section on our The Batman fansite! (http://www.legionsofgotham.org/BATMAN)

good idea darkblade, thanks matt, and thanks anyway batfan1990. I think he looks more like a thug than a mercinary, honestly but he does sound a little like the shocker from spiderman, (gloves that create tremors using ulviolet frequency). He's pretty influenced but points for originallity would have to be placed if he has a good origin

That would be really cool to have an all-new villain. BTAS did it. I can only think of original characters being thugs in The Batman (Kabuki Twins). Has there been any new ones I have missed?

[glow=red,2,300]I'm not so sure but this show has made a couple of villans new to almost all of us (Spellbinder and Ragdoll)[/glow]

Actually, Ragdoll and Spellbinder are from the comics. They're just not really popular characters.

Actually, Ragdoll and Spellbinder are from the comics. They're just not really popular characters. That's why he said they were "new to almost all of us" - because for many people that would be watching the show, they are new characters they've never seen before. Some, like you and me, are familiar with more than just the usual stable of Bat-baddies, so they aren't so new - just a redesign. Either way, I like how they're taking these forgotten characters and putting them in the show.

OK, is it T-e-m-b-l-o-r, or T-r-e-m-b-l-o-r? Matt originally said his name was "TEMBLOR," but "TREMBLOR" makes so much more sense (since he create's earthquakes). so which is it? Matt? help?

Thank you very much... the only reason i asked is because i've seen it written both ways... and i just don't know which is the correct way, because Matt said it was Temblor, but T remblor makes more sense to me, so i thought it may have been a typo.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Temblor would also make sense, since it's a common term when relating to seismic activity (basically almost a synonym for earthquake, i think).
Anyway, I think this character sounds interesting. I hope to see more/ hear more about him soon![/shadow]

Ruseri, You're not the only one who thought it was Tremblor, don't worry. I initially chalked it up to a typo. But Reideen and J-Man are right, it's "Temblor" -- which does indeed "mean" earthquake. A unique name, in my opinion.
Also, I've heard that a new commercial has been airing that features Maxie Zeus, Gearhead *and* Temblor among others, but I haven't seen anything posted here about this. I'm very curious to see what Maxie and Gearhead look like in this series, but if something did air, I find it hard to believe that nobody would have posted anything about it.

Well, we've finally got our first look at Temblor. He kind od reminded me of Cain, but looked somewhat like Scar from FULL METAL ALCHEMIST. Temblor made a decent debut.

he was so sick, the shades were cool too. But why was his hair gray if the toy's hair is red.
the silver hair was cool though.

I'm absolutely outright impressed with Temblor. GREAT concept and excellent execution on this new villain. I'm so psyched that Mattel is making the figure!

[shadow=purple,left,300]Temblor is an awesome villain, and I hope he appears again this season. I'm loving the figure (though they'll have to change all the reds to white (I'm an accuracy nut lol)).[/shadow]
