Quite a while ago (at least a year), I remember reading somewhere that there would be a version of Monopoly based upon the Justice League animated series (different from the JLA version I already own). I looked, searched, and hunted, but never saw it, nor heard if it actually existed. Does anyone know if this game was ever produced? Does anyone actually own it, and if so, where did you find it? Most importantly, where could I find one? Granted, I have more than enough versions of Monopoly to keep my happy (especially since I have no one to actually play with), but I really wanted the game pieces shaped like the animated Justice League team. So any help anyone can give me on this would be appreciated!

Really? I've never heard of a JL one...I have the JLA one along with the Batman & Robin version. Great if there is one based on the JL cartoon I'll have to try and find it now. PJ

[shadow=red,left,300]I hadn't heard of a JL Monopoly before. Like PJ, I already have the JLA version in my collection, but I'll have to hunt that one down, if it exists.[/shadow]

It's not on any Monopoly page I've ever seen. The only one I know of was the JLA set that was released with 2 different package variations.

I am unsure about a JL Monopoly, but there is a chess set out there ($29.99 at Amazon.com). Could that be what you are thinking of? I saw on at my local comic shop, but passed on the $45.00 price tag and of course it is sold out on Amazon. Here is what the box looks like if you have not seen it.

I wonder if TRU or Walmart will get that chess set?

I've never heard of the animated JL Monopoly either. Could be it just fell through? Perhaps if the show keeps chugging away it will come to reality?
I passed on the chess set as well due to comic shop price, but do want it and will get it I'm sure. I would expect Media Play, Suncoast and the like would carry it. Seeing how they carry the identical such sets for Simpsons Etc?

My comic shop has this. About $40, I think? It looked okay, but the paint apps on the pieces are pretty sloppy, like typical low-end PVCs.

This chess set is something I personally would pass on tho I do like that it appears they've included some villains you don't usually see in fig form.
