Hey I was searching around on eBay and I found a Utility Belt and Batarang toy set deal. I was wondering if someone could give me the scoop on these as they look pretty cool. I'm sure there's already been a post about them, and this one will get locked, if so, just please link to that post so I can read about them. Anyways here's the photos and ebay addresses: Utility Belt cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=48776&item=2250004110&rd=1Batarang cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=48776&item=2249741082&rd=1I had found some more of the Utility Belts on ebay, and all of them have that black dirty look (I have no idea why) if I got them or someone did they should repaint, that black just looks ugly. Anyways, the story on these would be pretty cool.

Those are pretty much accessories for a Halloween costume. I think that they are done by Rubies. The hook and throwing star come with the belt. The Batarang is packaged separately. All are pretty cool accessories to have. The throwing star is pretty much what you see there. The bat emblems glow in the dark, as all the ones of the things there do, and are glued on. The hook also has a bracelet thing that you can where with a string attached to the hook. Both are made of a foam like thing so you can safely hit people with them. The belt is really cool. The pouches open and can hold some small things. There are some velcro latches that can hold the throwing star and the hook. It is held on your waist with two velcro strips. I had to make and adaptor out of some velcro that I had lying around to make the belt fit my significantly larger waist. The batarang is just a hollow plastic. The bat emblems are stickers so you can take those off if you want to. Assuming they still have them available you should be able to find this at a party store that carries good halloween costumes. I got mine at Party City last Halloween. There is a plastic hook that is bigger also. Here is a picture of it: The prices for the auction seem a little high to me. I think that I paid about $10 or $12 for the belt and about $6 or$7 for the batarang. I passed on the belts. There are a lot of cool Batman costume things here: www.hollywood-costumes.com/

[shadow=red,left,300]Whoa...never seen that grappling hook before. Any idea where it can be purchased?[/shadow] I saw all three things in Party City in Fayetteville, AR last Halloween. The grappling hook cost about as much as the batarang. I modified my post to have the prices at the bottom of what I think I paid.

I got all of those things last year around Halloween time at Party city, and the most expensive one was the utility belt at 9 dollars. The grappling hook was, I think, 7 and the batarang was 4. I'd like to say that I don't occasionally try to grapple things around the house, but then I'd be lying.

All of this stuff is typically available around Halloween. I found them all at Party City in Fayetteville, AR when I was trying to get ideas for a costume. Needless to say when I found them I had my costume idea.

I've seen those before, just go to some party or costume shop during Halloween and they'll have those.

I've seen the gloves before, but I wear and adult large or extra large glove size, so I figured that it would be pointless for me to get them. They are pretty cool.
I wish they had had stuff like this when I was a kid.

That's so cool. Hopefully soon I'll be getting a custom Batsuit made, and that would be perfect for a belt.

That preorder costume is unbelievable, quite a hefty price tag on it though!! Thanks for sharing. I'll have to keep an eye out for those items this Halloween.

I found all three items also at a party store last year. I know that there are a few online costume suppliers that still have these in stock for somewhat cheap. It is a great belt, with opening pockets and great paint detail. Also the grapling and batarangs are very fun to play with. I highly recommend it!
