Hey folks,
The owner of my local comic shop tells me the Monogram Justice League paperwieghts are on his Diamond invoice for this week. (4-6-05) Unfortunately, it seems Monogram has taken a page from the DC Direct book, and instead of releasing 2-3 at a time as they were solicited, the invoive has 8-10 pieces at once. (I lost count.) Not only is that hard on buyers like us (that's $100 in one pop, else you risk not getting a full set), it's much harder on the retailers who have to pay up front.
Anyway, unless things change (which they can), many will be out this week.

You're right Casimir. The comic shop that Matt and I frequent probably won't get these in unless we special order them and really, at $100 for the JLA set - all at once, I'm probably going to have to pass. I might pick up the Titans and distribute them to the kids, but that's still $50. I was really hoping to get all of these 2 or 3 at a time - that would have been much easier to justify to my wife. I got the batman last week . They also had the other ones for 10.99 each. I am located in Orlando, FL. Are you talking about the bobble heads?

No, these are paperweights in individual clamshell packaging. The packaging is very similar to Mcfarlanes toys packaging. They also had the other members of the league but no titans.

youch that is a foolish way to ship...but I know that Monogram needs to make some money off of this property and soon.
good thing I already have all these paperweights, or I'd be screwed too! sorry they're doing it this way guys. At least you can still score Batman...

If anyone would like any info about these, I'll be happy to help out. I've got the complete sets of JL and TT.

My local shop had 1, count 'em, one WW and that was all by the time I got there tonight. She was priced at $9.99. Frankly, I'm suprised that they got any at all in.
