OK I have a question. I had switched the heads on the Nightwing & Sling Strike Nightwing...So I was going to turn the SS figure into the his last costume. So I started a quick paint scheme on it....But before I went back and did a better job on the painting I wanted to know if anyone else thinks the Sling Strike is working for this costume? Thanks. PJ

dude, it totally works! it looks slightly modernized, but still true to the classic design... plus your rough-paint job really sells it! i'd really like to see the completed custom... it looks great so far!

It looks good to me. You'd have to do some switching and cutting to get it exactly right, but that is something that I am probably going to do. If the stupid figures ever get to the US.

Most comic shops got this figure 2 weeks ago in special cases with Zipline Batman, Freeze & Croc. So you might want to check the comic shops by you. Yeah, but I'm just repainting mine...I'll leave the cutting and dremeling stuff to the big boys like Iron Cow & Casimir. I'm good for baisc stuff like limb swapping and painting...after that I'm lost. PJ

My comic guy didn't get any, but I can check a few other places.
I am in the same boat as you on customizing, I am not brave enough to cut at my figures either.

PJ,
Short of making new details to specifically match the old look, I think you've got yourself a winner here. It captures the spirit well enough. Let's see the finished product!

Casimir Thanks everyone. Hopfully it'll be done sometime this weekend. I had to stop and start cleaning the house as my wife had a friend she hadn't seen in a few months coming over for dinner. PJ
