Hello, everyone! Just wanted to let you know I've updated my site again with new photos of all the old Animated customs, plus the addition of three brand new babies! This time around I've got "The Batman" Unmasked, "The Flash" (done in the style of 'The Batman') and a Super Powers-styled Mister Miracle that was made for our resident Julius Marx. These projects I am very enthusiastic about, so look forward to more Animated customs in the near future. Take the link below to check out the new pieces. And as always, any feedback you might have would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy! Matt aka Iron-Cow www.ironcowprod.com

Thanks guys! I can't really explain my Flash obsession, but he's always the first guy I gotta customize whenever there's a new toy line. Thanks again! Matt aka Iron-Cow www.ironcowprod.com

[glow=blue,2,300]That flash is cool, I was wondering what some other DC heroes would look like in the new style.
I have a question, is switching the heads hard ?
I'm not really much of a customizer so I was wondering how you do it.[/glow]

Hey Josh,
Switching the heads on these guys was super easy, actually. Just boil some water. Pour it into a coffee cup and dunk the figures in head-first. Let them sit there for about a minute to two minutes or so.
*Carefully* remove them from the cup, as they're likely to be logged with hot water, but you can pop off the heads pretty easily and interchange them. The figures for the "The Batman" line work great for this. Definately an easy little trick.
Hope this helps!

Hey, any time! Really, starting off by doing headswaps and repaints is the best way to learn how to customize a figure. Once you get the feel for it, you'll be slicing up all sorts of things for parts.
Hope it works out for ya! Lemme know how it goes...

I use the hairdryer method...because last time I tried the boil & pop...when I cooled off my TJ Green Lantern his ankle got brittle and snapped off. Plus I kept burning my hand. ;D (you've met me so you know that whole careful thing is out the window with me ;D) PJ

Ha! True... I've seen the damage you can do first hand. =)
Actually, the plastic on these new 'The Batman' figures is so soft you might not even need to heat it. They should pop right off.

Ok I got it! A Robin, 'The Batman' style! Now there's something that would be cool. Anyways, that Flash is amazing! I only hope I'll be able to do stuff like that one day.

oooh..,.. hey, I like that idea!
Actually, I could see the classic Richard Grayson outfit translating well to this style and be not at all goofy.
And here's some fun news: Jeff Matsuda, the character designer for "The Batman" liked my Flash custom so much, he's commissioned me to do a Flash for him along with a Captain America! Pretty excited about this.
And once I get pics, I'll definitely be posting 'em here.
