[glow=blue,2,300]Hey guys,
Since Mattel has yet to release a Bruce here in the states for the comic line, it looks like I am resorted to making a custom, but since I'm only a beginner, I was wondering if anyone could suggest what figure(s) I could use for a base. It would help to if the base is low priced and readily availble.
Thanks ![/glow]

I would highly suggest using the Legends of the Dark Knight Lethal Weapon Bane. [glow=blue,2,300]For Bruce ?[/glow]

I was confused by his bane post too.
I think you can always pick a Marvel Legends head for a bruce and just use a zipline body with a few adjustments. I've seen people use ML4's punisher head (which you can get for cheap at KB). Or you can try using that mr.fantastic head. OR! You can get creative with a superman head or something. Or a ML6 movie punisher.
Thing is, Marvel legends have ball jointed heads so you're gonna either have to glue the head onto the body or just make a new joint. if i come up with any more ideas i'll post it here.

This probably isn't the outfit you're intending, but for the head I used a casting of the DCD Golden Age Flash (first version). I think it worked out rather well: traditional hero's square jaw, steely brow, swept back hair (i.e. cowl hair). Might be a place to start. Casimir Inanimate Objects! www.pilliod.net

If you're confidant in yourself you could probably use Zip-line's head to make Bruce (just sand off or smooth out the line were the cowl meets the face and loop of the bat ears sculpt some hair and human ears)
I attempted this and I don't think it looks all that bad (although it's not perfect in anyway)... it's probably not the way you want to go though.

I think the quickest and likely easiest would be some generic wrestling figure. They have many to choose from that would / could work for a lot of dif customs.
