Does anyone have any advice for doing a leg-swap on DCD figures? How hard would this be? I want to take the Hard Traveling Hero's body and put the legs from another Green Arrow figure on it-probably the Identity Crisis GA or possibly the upcoming Alex Ross GA.I really love the sculpt on the original Green Arrow but the weird,non-articulated legs have always bugged me and made him a pain to stand.

Being DCD... they'll robably break themselve's! (ba dump bump) Seriously though, I havnt worked with such figures really in that fashion, but I assume the tried and true "boil and pop" method would / could work? cant say for sure what compromises may have to be made though?

I saw this Thread title and went"huh?who broke GA's Legs?" DCDs can be tricky.some are basic"T"shaped round pins which should come off easily with a bit of heat ala boil and pop although that's not always necessary with DCDs i find.Sometimes they'll just come straight off easily. Most of the earlier figs use that basic joint although don't quote me on that as i haven't worked with all of them. Others can be slightly more complicated but never as much as say ML joints.Having never played around with that particular figure i can't truly answer your question for sure. When it comes to pulling Joints apart i always accept the fact that i may have to create replacement ones myself due to irreparable damage. Then you've got the whole issue of blending the parts of 2 separate figures together which can be a whole new can-o-worms. Sorry i can't be more help than that.

Thanks for the advice guys.As soon as I figure out what legs I'm gonna use,I'll just try the boil and pop and see what happens-I'll keep you updated!
