So, now pics yet but I'm working on a JLU spectre figure. I need recommendations for a cloak. I'd love a plastic one, but realize this may not be possible.

there are three ways you can do this. 1. you can get a superman figure and sculpt around his cape 2. it's the same just with a dr. fate figure, 3. you can cut out a piece of clear vinyl and glue to the base figure. these are my opinons so you can pick the one you like.

If you are unable to canabalize one from an existing and suitable figure, I would recomend sculpting one around the head youre using. Would likely look the best and be the strongest. I suggest leaving making one from scratch out of vinyl as a last resort. It aint easy for such contours and would only look "so" good. Just my eperience. Cant wait to see it too! Spectre is yet another Ive been putting off. What head are you using?

I'm using waverider because he's got a 'mean' face to me, but not complete anger-a look that something might be behind. I made a cloak out of some fabric I bought at wal-mart. I got stuf that was too thick. I was thinking of making a cloak ala the mattel batman figures from a few years back. I may just make a cloth cloak and hood though from thinner material. -Matt
